Painfully slow load time – when it loads

The site takes about 30 seconds to load… when it loads. I made sure to update all of the plugins and the theme. Everything is up to date. The only plugins that are active are the ones that came with the theme plus WooCommerce Product Add-ons.

Loading is the big problem at this point but I’m also getting strange characters in the url– https://plexify.me/?v=2320522a6676. Not sure if that related or not.

Any ideas about what’s causing the problem or how to solve it?

Hello,

As you can see from this tool http://www.webpagetest.org/result/160226_AC_XFQ/1/details/ slow loading is mostly caused by images. You need optimize them.

Thanks for the quick response!

I’ll read through everything and see about optimizing the images further. Any idea about the odd characters at the end of the url?

Hello,

This is related to Woocommerce settings. If you activate default WordPress theme you’ll see the same characters. You can ask Woocommerce support team about it.
