    Hi,

    My site speed is really bad,
    I am trying to resolve it, in pingdom it shows that plugins.js, style.css and responsive.css inside royal2.0 are the heaviest. Can you help me to reduce their size and load time?

    Hello,

    Please update the theme to the latest version and Woocommerce as well.
    Before update delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/royal/ and it’ll be reuploaded from a new theme package.
    Also update all required plugins https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ .

    Don’t forget to create back up of your files and database before starting update process!


    (it’s for Legenda theme but the process is the same).

    Hi Eva,

    Thanks for your response, but upgrade is not a solution for me as we have customized the theme a lot. Can you suggest me anything else.

    Hello,

    You’re using very old theme version, we recommend to update it.
    You need move your customizations to child theme http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes , after that you’ll be able to proceed with update.

    Hi eva,

    As you suggested we have upgraded our website to new theme version, all the plugins are also updated.

    We have moved our website to site ground servers.

    But there we are facing database errors, because of which website is down.

    error we are getting is: The problem was caused by high server load. That load came as a result of slow queries executed towards this database.

    They have asked us to review database and optimize it.

    I have added slowest queries in the private content.

    as per MySQL expert: To resolve the problem, the queries need to be reviewed. I mean the functions within the files. can you help us with this?
