    Hi there,

I have kept the container measurements the same without changing anything without adding any additional px etc. Only changes so far is colour and some text, that is all.

Demo site worked fine so far when I last worked on the site a month plus. Returned to finish site and did updates etc. First I tried to add text box with icon as the first footer column at the bottom below the connect with us tab next to the country and that is when I firstr noticed the page jumps and that section expands to the left of the container when page is refreshed. I removed the one line text and icon and notice this is a persistent issue.

I have kept everything as is except for esthetic as I don’t have time to invest in changes and need to launch this site asap. Please assist with a solution.

I will also be registering a similar domain name to attach to the site when I am ready to launch live site. I will add a word to the first part of the domain name, it will end with dot com instead of .shop. (rebranding).
Please advise if this will be a problem when I am ready to launch as your company forced me to delete my main website thinking I am trying to launch on multiple sites while I was simply doing a rebuild on a demo subsite that did not follow your choice of subdomain format.

    Thanks,
    J

    Hello, @Phoenixtalia,

Thank you for contacting us and for using XStore.

1/ Please record a video of the problem for a better understanding. Upload it on a filesharing service, for example – https://wetransfer.com/ , and provide us with URL.

Also, please let us know what exactly you want or your desired goal.

Furthermore, we would appreciate it if you could create temporary wp-admin access and share the details via the private content area. This will allow us to review your settings and better understand the issue at hand and help you.

We kindly recommend that you take a complete backup of your site before proceeding.

Thank you for your cooperation and we look forward to hearing from you soon.

2/ XStore provides the option of 1 live site licensing and 2 staging site licensing for testing purposes per purchase code. This means that you can set up two staging sites using a single license. Please read our theme documentation here: https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/163-how-to-registerderegister-xstore-theme-livestaging-websites

We hope this information is helpful.

    Best Regards,
    8Theme’s Team

    Thank you for your response.

#1 Respectfully, I do not have the time to take all these steps you are recommending.

If you want to see the issue, simply visit the demo site, scroll down to the bottom of the page at the footer left section of the site, while there hit refresh and pay attention to the left side of the footer section directly below the social buttons and see how the green forefront color footer section jumps. Instead of showing the green colour continuously across the width of the prefooter section when it is refreshes, it will only show the yellow background colour instead.

What I would like to achieve is for my site to work the way it did before the update where all colours and all sections were showing properly even colours before, during, and after refresh.

If I create admin and you change something in the site while I am presently working on the live site right now, what would be the point of making a backup? It could potential cause me to lose changes anyhow.

The goal for the site is for it to work properly without it jumping and showing partial colour during refresh, to work properly as it should.

#2 I mentioned, my domain will be changed for rebranding. Which means that when I am changing the domain name when launching live, your system might feel I am trying to use the license on multiple domains. It is the reason why I am checking with you prior to the new domain name how to work with you to avoid this distrust creating misunderstanding on your end thinking I am attempting to use the license on multiple domains. My demo site might still have the current domain name when I attempt to launch the live site with new domain name. I do not know yet what that will look like in terms of accessing the subsite/demo after domain change.

My support might expire by then and I might not be able to reach you to ask this question or to get assistance to rectify this issue then.

#3 I also notice the colour scheme when tested on an actual phone it does not show the site colours properly anymore on mobile phone but shows within the theme cross browser test area.

It is important for me to have these questions answered before proceeding as it is no use me making changes not knowing when you might be accessing the site and then lose my changes and time and having to redo changes.

Awaiting your response so I may know how to proceed further.

    Thanks,

    J

In addition to my last message, I notice that the issue with the pre footer foreground colour I mentioned the issue is visible on firefox, I don’t notice it on chrome.

    Thanks

    Hello, Phoenixtalia,

Thank you for getting in touch with us.

Please post different questions via separate topics – https://www.8theme.com/forums/xstore-wordpress-support-forum/

1/ WPBakery plugin styles and scripts make the row full width, this is independent of our theme update. So, if these styles and scripts are still loading you see the boxed layout in Footer. We can’t speed up this process from the theme side. You can just enable the site loader to show the site once the page is fully loaded (Theme Options > General > site loader), and read this article – https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/100-how-to-speed-up-my-website

2/ For information on how to register or deregister your XStore theme for live or staging websites, please consult the following article: https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/163-how-to-registerderegister-xstore-theme-livestaging-websites. You have the capability to deactivate domains and activate new ones independently. In the event of a manual review, we can typically discern that the sites pertain to a single project based on their content. Should any questions arise during the review, we will reach out to you via email to address any issues. Please note that even after your support period has concluded, you are still welcome to contact us through the official contact form on this page: https://themeforest.net/user/8theme

3/ AMP plugin is activated, so read our docs to configure it – https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/category/112-amp-plugin or disable the plugin.

We hope this information is helpful.

    Kind Regards,

Thank you for your response Rose,
Your attitude and frustration is pouring out while you keeping using the word “so” to ensure it shows clearly through my screen. Calm down, take a deep inhale Rose and a gentle exhale.

I paid for this product. If I have frustration, it is because it is not working as it should. You are the one that offers wpbakery as addition to your theme to make is work, I didn’t independently choose it on my own. It was a recommendation from your company for the static blocks to work with your product. So ease up on the attitude Rose.

I will look into your recommendations as if they did not come from an angry person. Take another deep inhale Rose, and a gentle exhale.

    Namaste Rose
