Outdated copies of WooCommerce templates

    Hi there

    my woocommerce does not work properly anymore and WP tells me the following:
    Your theme (ROYAL – 8theme WordPress theme) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce.

    The following .php are affected:

    royal/woocommerce/cart/cart.php version 2.3.8 is out of date. The core version is 3.0.0,

    royal/woocommerce/cart/cross-sells.php version 1.6.4 is out of date. The core version is 3.0.0,

    royal/woocommerce/checkout/form-billing.php version 2.1.2 is out of date. The core version is 3.0.0,

    royal/woocommerce/content-product.php version 2.6.1 is out of date. The core version is 3.0.0,

    royal/woocommerce/loop/add-to-cart.php version 2.5.0 is out of date. The core version is 3.0.0,

    royal/woocommerce/single-product/add-to-cart/simple.php version 2.1.0 is out of date. The core version is 3.0.0,

    royal/woocommerce/single-product/add-to-cart/variation-add-to-cart-button.php version 2.5.0 is out of date. The core version is 3.0.0,

    royal/woocommerce/single-product/product-image.php version 2.6.3 is out of date. The core version is 3.0.0,

    royal/woocommerce/single-product/product-thumbnails.php version 2.6.3 is out of date. The core version is 3.0.0,

    royal/woocommerce/single-product/related.php version 1.6.4 is out of date. The core version is 3.0.0,

    royal/woocommerce/single-product/up-sells.php version 1.6.4 is out of date. The core version is 3.0.0,

    What shall I do? Thanks for advice.

    Hello,

    Please update royal theme to 3.0.1 version, it is compatible with WooCommerce 3.0.1.
    You need to enter your purchase code to activate our new theme version and skip Setup Wizard.
    Don’t forget to create backup of your files and database before starting update process!

    thanks a lot for your quick answer. I installed the updated version and entered the purchase codes. Most of the issues are gone – hurry! But still, I get the notice that some of the templates are outdated such as:

    • royal/woocommerce/cart/cart.php Version 3.0.0 ist veraltet. Die Hauptversion ist 3.0.3,
    • royal/woocommerce/checkout/form-shipping.php Version 2.2.0 ist veraltet. Die Hauptversion ist 3.0.0,
    • royal/woocommerce/content-single-product.php Version 1.6.4 ist veraltet. Die Hauptversion ist 3.0.0,
    • royal/woocommerce/myaccount/form-edit-address.php Version 2.6.0 ist veraltet. Die Hauptversion ist 3.0.0,
    • royal/woocommerce/single-product/product-image.php Version 3.0.0 ist veraltet. Die Hauptversion ist 3.0.2,
    • royal/woocommerce/single-product/product-thumbnails.php Version 3.0.0 ist veraltet. Die Hauptversion ist 3.0.2,

    Hello,

    Did you face compatibility issues on your site or just notices about out of date files?
    I would recommend you before uploading theme files delete “woocommerce” folder, which is located in wp-content/themes/royal/ to avoid problems with old files.

    Hi Rose
    I still have some bugs that did not appear before the update came.

    e.g. it’s impossible to delete or add “linked products” – neither cross nor upselling. The products I added weeks ago remain there and can’t be removed – no new products can be added.

    Ever heard of that problem? Need access to the WP backend?

    Make sure, that you are using Ultimate Addons for Visual Composer v 3.16.10 https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/page/2/
    Then, please provide wp-admin access in Private Content.

    Hello,

    Sorry, but wp-admin credentials are incorrect. Please check them.
    Also, go to Appearance > Themes > install and activate Storefront theme – official WC theme and check if you have this issue with our theme only or even with official theme too.

    Hello,

    I’ve checked your problem and saw the same situation with official WooCommerce theme – Storefront. We’ll be able to help you only in case problem appears with our theme only and works fine with Storefront.
    Please update Ultimate Addons for Visual Composer to 3.16.10 and Visual Composer to 5.1.1v, don’t update Woocommerce.
    To update plugins, connect to your server using FTP. Copy extracted plugins folders into wp-content/plugins/ . The latest versions of plugins you can find here https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/page/2/
