Order invoice email template by template-builder sends no order-information

    Hello,
    today I started to use the email tempalte builder for customizing the order-emails for the customers.

    The email looks good now, but unfortunately the parts of order-details are not sent.
    The preview email looks correct instead. I don’t know, how to solve the issue.

    Hi Jack,
    thank you for your reply.
    In order to your description and the documentation I search for the right template to mapp with.

    In Woocommerce settings I use the email for invoice in this case, to send the invoice as pdf with. In your list I cannot find the template for invoice email. So I think I need a new email type for invoice-email!?

    Moreover the right template is sent but the placeholders are not filled with order-information. You can see the attachement 🙂

    We wanted to bring to your attention that the correct template type has not been assigned yet, as it is still set to the standard template. For the email type you mentioned, it is necessary to manually add the respective email IDs to the list of our templates in order to enable proper building.

    Hey Jack, thank you for your support and your reply.
    I tried to do this by myself, but I did’t solve the issue – the email builder list didn’t show any other entry and I had a bad error 🙁 Perhaps I did anything wrong 🙁

    The ID is “storeabill_simpleinvoice”, so I added the following code to the functions.php in child theme:
    add_filter(‘viwec_accept_email_type’, function($emails) {
    $emails[] = ‘storeabill_simpleinvoice’;
    });

Based on our findings, it appears that this template may be generated dynamically.

    Hi Jack,
    I wrote the Germanized Pro Support and got the Email template ID, which is “sab_simple_invoice”. Now the template is shown in the email builder list. Unfortunately, my email design is not the one, which is sent to the customer.
    The support answer is:
    “Hi Janina, ich denke nicht, dass das out-of-the-box funktionieren wird (in Verbindung mit dem Builder des themes), da das primäre Objekt, das die Rechnungsmail erwartet, vom WC_Order object (Das ist das object, das standardmäßig beim Versand von Bestellmails verwendet wird) abweicht. Unabhängig davon lautet die ID sab_simple_invoice.”

    In this particular case, it appears that the email in question is hardcoded within their code and, unfortunately, cannot be modified using the email builder provided by our theme. While we utilize the default WooCommerce hooks that are triggered for sending emails, it seems that the emails they send do not adhere to the same structure of PHP classes that WooCommerce typically provides.
