"open link in new window" does not work anymore

Since a few weeks the option “open link in new window” does not work anymore… not in visual composer altough the _blank attribute is set in html view

Here for example… at the bottom of the page all tabs include links (logo and text) all links open in the same page altough its “open in new tab” selecte… i also tried a pure html element with an _blank attribute… doenst work as well

Hello,

The same issue persists with default WordPress theme too. Activate it and check yourself.

Ok thx this works for external links… altough its really strange that i cant even use the _blank attribute

But pdfs are still opening in the same window… do you have any idea what issue can cause such an problem?
