I followed the documentation to the letter. But the site does nothing when the menu items are clicked on.

    Hello,

You should write ids in “Anchor for one page navigation” field in row settings http://storage1.static.itmages.com/i/15/1031/h_1446284688_9302149_b161131d83.png . Or update the theme to 2.5 version where this option is removed and “Row ID” is used for one page navigation.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    Hey Jack,

I did as you mentioned and started using the 2.5 version. Everything was working fine, but today I went on the site and the menu again stopped working….

On top of that, so did the sticky menu.

So now, my menu buttons dont scroll down the page to the desired section, and when you scroll down manually the menu disappears!

    What is going on here?

I seem to be having issue after issue with this theme. The worst part is that alot of it is the same thing happening over and over again, even after its been fixed.

Can you take a look at this please.

I havent made any adjustments to the menu, there is no reason for it to just stop working, and I didnt change anything to the sticky menu upon scroll, so there is no reason for that to stop working either. All the settings are still the same but all of the sudden its not working.

    Please, contact administrator
    for this information.

    Hello,

In Woopress 2.5 version one-page navigation settings have been changed.
    Please read our documentation:
    https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/woopress/#!/4_one_page

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

Everything is set exactly the way the documentation says!!!

Did you even check the site?

I said in the comment, nothing has changed!!

Just a day ago it was working, now its not!

I havent changed any of the menu items, none of the page settings, none of the header settings, nothing at all on these pages has changed, but the menu doesnt work!!!

Why is it you guys always suggest something that is clearly the first thing I would check?

Do you think I would be contacting you if it was just toggling a selection?

And if you wouldve checked the site, you would clearly see that everything is set correctly and in accordance to the documentation.

Please check the site, first. Then either fix it or tell me how to, and truthfully, real customer service would be you, just doing what it takes to fix the issue, not giving me another suggestion.

The amount of issues Ive had with this theme is insane, and the fact that you guys havent stepped up to resolve any of them really and have just left me to experiment over and over until the issues are resolved is a real testament to your company, your products and to the support you provide.

Im assuming the only thing that may get your attention is negative reviews and publicity on your sales pages. I have been reluctant to go that route, but you guys seem to leave no alternative for customers having issues with your themes.

Let me know how you want to handle this. At this point I have no problem going on envato and leaving multiple negative reviews on everything you sell, unless my issues are resolved. This is not what want to do, but you guys have my back to the wall here and I find no other alternatives.

    Hello,

I’ve checked the menu on your site and it’s scrolling to the needed section when menu item is clicked.

Please try to clear browser cache and check again or check in another browser.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

I just tested a bunch of stuff and got that to work.

What about the fixed menu nav issue???????????

    It wont work!!

And Ive tried several different things….

What do you want to do about that???

I also created duplicate pages of the home page, and the top products section all of the sudden a couple of days ago disappeared on all of them!

I have had to go back and delete that section and add a new product section to them. I havent gotten to all of them, so if you really wanted to see you still could look at it, and see that issue too.

That problem Im handling, I figured out how to fix it, but the point is… Its one issue after another with this theme. New problems pop every week!!

And when I contact you guys about it, you give me some silly answer of what to try, or direct me to the documentation, instead of fixing the issue yourself. After all its your theme causing the problem, why is it always me that has to fix the issue.

Even my initial problem with the triple spacing of text content…

We went back and forth and until I got outside help from a 3rd party the problem wasnt resolved!

The menu drop down selector on mobile also does not work.

You know, the little striped box with all the menu item selections when youre on a mobile device…

I have an iPhone, and I try clicking it, and nothing happens!

No drop down action, no selections, no menu items, no way to choose anything at all on the menu!

On mobile the menu pretty much become non-existent…

What do you want to do about that too?

Oh and the sticky menu issue, is also present on mobile, so yeah, that part doesnt work anywhere at all….

    Hello,

Have you made any changes in the theme files?
    May we reupload the theme?

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

No, I havent made any changes to the theme.

Only what you see in the global css section, and even that has been there for a long time. So it should not have affected the way any of this stuff works, because it worked before and all that was already there.

How do you want to do that?

I dont want to lose any of the content, or anything else I have done to the site for that matter. Its taken me over a month to get everything else set up correctly so I cant afford to lose anything that I’ve done to the site.

If its just the theme, then its ok. But again, theres alot of other things on that site at this point, that I cant lose or have disappear… (affiliate program, woocommerce, payment gateways, retargeting pixels, just to name a few)

    Hello,

Please confirm you have created a back up of your files and database and we’ll just reupload theme files, your settings won’t be changed.

    Thank you.

Ok, I think I have a back up now.

Do you think what youre going to do is going to somehow break my site, or delete stuff though?

    Hello,

I’ve just cleared cache via FTP in wp-content directory and disabled cache plugin in WP admin panel.
Please clear browser cache and check your site in another browser.

    Thank you.

    Eva Kemp.

    Hey,

Thats fine, and when I checked it was working well.

Then I enabled the cache plugin and…boom…

    The sticky menu disappeared again.

I cant be without that plugin, because without it the site takes forever to load… sometimes over 30 seconds to fully load.

So how can we get it to work, while still using a cache plugin?

    Hey,

By the way, the menu on mobile stopped working again as well!!!

The button you press to show the menu on mobile is simply there for decoration now!!!

    Hello,

Please try to clear “cache” folder now in wp-content directory and check mobile menu after that.

    Thank you.

Where do I go to do that?

    How do I do that?

I dont know what you mean:

“clear “cache” folder now in wp-content directory”

Why didnt you just do that if you were there?
