On product setting backorder option does not work

    Issue: When i set a product to back-order it has no effect at all. I have custome php. code line that allows me to have another “2nd stock” visible on ech product and i dont know if its interfering with it backorder setting or not. ( Im attaching the code)

    Also my setting of product backend and frontend

    Content is visible for topic creator and

    Hello @Kulimary

    Could you please test if the same issue occurs when using a default theme, such as Storefront? (Appearance – Themes).
    If the behavior continues regardless of the theme being used, it suggests that the problem may not be related to the theme itself. In this case, we would recommend you contact support of woocommerce plugin – https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/

    I did what you suggested and it works on plain theme

    Mean time i managed to tweak function.php code on chilld theme and the backorder works on product page but it doesnt show on catalog page.

    Is there a theme option I need to enable for the add to cart button show on catalog page for out of stock products?
