Hi there!
I was looking forward to the new woopress update because I was promised that a few bugs I encountered would be fixed then. Unfortunately, this is not the case. In Short this is still not working:
This one is the most important:
– On mobile view the product categories (sidebar) are shown at the bottom of the page instead of the top. I cannot change this even though I go the theme options > blog layout > Sidebar position for responsive layout > top
http://ecosmetics.nl/?product=2-phase-r-eye-make-up-remover
This makes it impossible to navigate!!
– I cannot change the order of product categories. I dragged them in the right order but this is not displayed on the website.
– Product tabs (extra info) closed by default is still not working properly.
New questions
– I broke the product title of the products into two lines using </BR>. This works fine throughout the entire website, only in breadcrumbs the code itselves is displayed. How can I hide this.
– How can I align the mailchimp registration fields in the footer to the left and also at the same height as the rest of the text. This is now centered by default.
Can you help me please?
Hello,
Unfortunately sidebar on mobile will be shown on top only if you select left sidebar layout in Theme Options > Single Product Page.
I’ve added Woocommerce Product Categories widget to Shop Sidebar area in Appearance > Widgets and set “Category order” in the widget settings. Please check sidebar on Shop page now.
Could you please clarify this query?
>> Product tabs (extra info) closed by default is still not working properly.
Unfortunately there is no possibility to remove <br>
from breadcrumbs. Sorry. If you wish you can hide breadcrumbs section in this case.
Use this code in Theme Options > Custom CSS > Custom CSS for desktop to align newsletter form:
.main-footer .mc4wp-form input[type="email"] {
width: 85% !important;
margin: -15px 0px 15px !important;
}
.main-footer .mc4wp-form {
text-align: left;
}

Eva Kemp.
Unfortunately sidebar on mobile will be shown on top only if you select left sidebar layout in Theme Options > Single Product Page.
– I did what you suggested, but with no luck unfortunately. Can you assist please?
– Categories are now in right order, thank you.
– No need for the extra product tabs right now, so ignore what I said earlier about that.
Hello,
You’re right. There is a bug with sidebar position on mobile.
We’ll pass this query to our developers.
Please take our apologies for inconveniences.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
Any idea when this is fixed? It was not included in the latest update.
Two more questions:
– When I hover over my shopping basket in the top banner. The image link is broken. How can this be fixed?
– When people watch my site on an iPad on landscape mode the site layout is not correct. I.E. Top menu is not aligned in the center. The revolution slider isn’t scaled. Any idea how I can fix this?
Thanks.
Hello,
1. Try to delete “woocommerce” folder in the directory wp-content/themes/woopress/ and reupload it from a new theme package that you have. After that check top cart widget.
2. I’ve edited the code in child style.css file to this:
@media (min-width: 1200px){.boxed .st-container {
width: 1450px;
}}
Please check site on iPad now.

Eva Kemp.
Experiencing the same issue with the left sidebar not stacking correctly on mobile and wanted to see when you expect to have a resolution on this as it is negatively affecting the user experience on our website. As of right now the Product Search shows below the products grid on mobile so in order to use it, you have to scroll all the way down the page. Look forward to your response. Thank you!
Hello @SixthGearLLC,
This issue will be fixed in the next theme update.
Please take our apologies for inconveniences.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
Thanks Eva, when can that theme update be expected and is there a temporary solution you can provide as this is currently a live site.
Hello @SixthGearLLC,
Theme will be updated approximately in a week or 2.
Unfortunately for now there is no temporary solution.
Please take our apologies.
Thank you.

Eva Kemp.

Hi Eva,
I see that the developers are working on the update. Do you think the fix will be available this week?
Hello @glenngtr,
The update will be released at the end of the week or the next week.

Eva Kemp.
Hi Eva,
Can we communicate the new timeframe to our customers with any confidence? Unfortunately you have been stating next week since October 19th each time I have communicating this to a customer using your plugin whose shop is not mobile-friendly due to the issue…
Hello @SixthGearLLC,
Please take our apologies for a long delay with the update.
Our developers are improving it and a new version should be released shortly.
Thank you.

Eva Kemp.
Hi Eva,
Will the theme update be released this week as you stated? It has been over a month since this bug was reported with the sidebar on mobile. Thank you.
Corey

This is really an unfortunate handling of this situation as by now I could have hired someone to fix this issue but chose not too because you had stated a new release that addressed the issue was coming. Disappointed.
Dear clients,
Sorry for such long delay.
A new theme version has been released and you can download it http://themeforest.net/item/woopress-responsive-ecommerce-wordpress-theme/9751050 .
