Non-secure collection of passwords issue

Hi – I’ve received a message from google about Google Chrome and non-secure collection of passwords warning. However, I don’t collect passwords or payments on my site as its an affiliate site. What do I need to do to resolve this problem? Is there a general fix available that I can add in the code somewhere? Many thanks

Hi Eva – I wasn’t sure if my point was clear regarding this issue. It’s that I don’t collect data as my site is an affiliate site, so is there a way I can deal with this with some form of code or do I have to get another kind of license? Oliver

Hello,

Our theme doesn’t collect passwords, Woocommerce can do this or some other plugin.
To resolve this issue you need install SSL certificate and change http to https for your site.
Where did you download 2.8.1 version? We have only 2.8 and then 2.9, then 2.9.1 and 3.0.3 versions. Please update the theme to the latest version.
