Newbie Q regarding blocks, I think…

    Hi there,

    We would like to add a section for a logo graphic that would sit below the footer, but above the copyright block. It would not be for a single page/post, but show for all pages.

    Our awareness of WP concepts is limited just now, but what should we do / where do we look?

    Hello,

    If you need this footer for few pages only then:

    1) Go to Theme Options > General > Footer > Footer columns > 1 Column.
    2) Go to Static Blocks and create 2 footer static blocks: first one – default footer, second one – footer with additional section below
    3) Go to Appearance > Widgets > add 8theme – Static Block widget into Footer widget area and choose first footer block.
    4) Go to Pages > edit pages where you need custom footer with section and select this custom footer static block in page settings (8theme Layout section http://prntscr.com/cqk8l5)
