    Hello,

    You need to go to Dashboard > Updates > check the XStore theme in the list and press update. Don’t update child theme by the default one. Child theme is theme that includes your changes, don’t replace files in that theme by default files. More information about child theme read here https://developer.wordpress.org/themes/advanced-topics/child-themes/
