New products site – Elementor Demo Shortcode

Hi,

Help me out please – I need to add site with new products. I am using Elementor. What is a shortcode?

There is no such shortcode. You can find a few Products elements – https://prnt.sc/55QONEDvNhJU and select the order by – Date https://prnt.sc/mJshvIIZ5_qo

If you want to obtain an element that shows only new products, and nothing more, please submit a featured request here – https://www.8theme.com/taskboard/ , so our dev team read it.

So there is really no way to replicate what I have in my other store built with WP Bakery? (I use Woo Recent Products item)?

Most stores have a separate site for new arrivals, it is interesting that your Elementor sites do not have it.

Currently, you can use our Products Grid element and select to show the latest products, as described in screenshots in my previous reply.
Our support team can help you with existing elements only.

Alternatively, you can submit a request here https://www.8theme.com/taskboard/ for our development team to review. If it receives enough votes from other customers, our development team will consider adding it to one of the upcoming updates.

Please check these settings of the Posts element https://prnt.sc/uGQw8stU3lTG , do you want to get something like it for Products?
This task is simpler than creating a new element. Please post your request on the Trackboard so our development team can read it.

For some reason I always have a problem with this elements (Product grid, Categories etc.) They never show products which I want.

I have 3 columns, and 21 products as a product limit. In the last row, I have only 2 products, not 3 – how can I fix it?

Also how can I define number of rows?

How can I add widgets so I mimic category page with filters etc on the left sidebar?

Thank you for your response.

“how can I fix it?” – please provide temporary wp-admin access, so we can take a closer look at the settings on your site.

“Also how can I define number of rows?” – it calculates automatically, based on columns and the products limit you set.

“How can I add widgets so I mimic category page with filters etc on the left sidebar?” – there is no such possibility because WooCommerce widgets work only for WC pages (Shop, page of category, or brand).

Temp access in PC

Please take a look at the settings this rows/columns number of titems issue is coming back to me.

I will learn how to live with no filters 😉 thanks for your explanation

Were products imported? It looks like the problem is caused by this reason. Strange situation, but the shortcode works fine, for example – https://prnt.sc/dtPdtdoOq_LH Please check.

Hi,

Thank you for providing this solution, but it is not responsive and these 3 columns are being also displayed on mobile – which makes it very narrow -, not the best ux,

At the same time it is still not filled completely – there is blank spot instead of the product – row 7 (so still product #21 is not loading)

Another – shortcode is not working also not working in terms of the number of products being displayed – there are more than 21 – I have 14 rows times 3 products each.

Thank you for your reply.

[products] is the default WooCommerce shortcode https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/
Please check how it works when the default WooCommerce theme – Storefront is activated. If there is a bug (an issue with product output), then this is an issue with the products (perhaps some products are only indicated to be shown on the shop/search, which is why they are not being outputted on a custom page).
