"New" and "Cart" translate

Hello,

I’m having a hard time trying to figure out how to translate “cart” in the home page (where the cart button is), also the “new” word in the circle on the thumbnail product. I have changed the .po file but no luck so far :/

Hello,

You can translate these words in \themes\royal\framework\woo.php file on line 1230 and
\themes\royal\woocommerce\loop\sale-flash.php file on line 18.

Hello and thank you for the fast answer. I’m sure this will work, but, wouldn’t this change back to english again after upgrading the theme in a future?

Please make all changes within child theme. How to to create child theme you may read here.

Hi, alright. I’ve installed the child theme but I’m not so good on this and I don’t want to mess up (that’s why I was doing all the tweaks in the custom.css file) so, just to be sure:

Shall I copy all the folder “framework” to the child theme, right? and make the changes in the proper file there (same with the other file). Or…shall I just copy the woo.php and sale-flash.php file?

Hello,

you need to keep file hierarchy in child theme too. So if you want to edit ‘woo.php’ file – place it in your (child theme folder)\framework\woo.php
You need to put only edited files into child theme as they will be used instead original ones.

Hello, thank you for helping out. I’ve changed the files already and the “new” issue has been solved, unfortunately the “cart” translation didn’t applied, any ideas why?
