    Hello,

    Greetings of the day!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Yes, it is possible to require users to log in before making a purchase. This can be achieved by enabling the option that restricts guest checkout, ensuring that only registered and logged-in users are able to place orders.

To enable this feature, please follow these steps:

    1. From your WordPress dashboard, go to WooCommerce > Settings.
    2. Click on the Accounts & Privacy tab.
    3. Under the “Guest checkout” section, uncheck the option that says “Allow customers to place orders without an account.”
    4. Optionally, you can also enable “Allow customers to create an account during checkout” to make the process easier for new users.

Once this is configured, customers will be required to log in or create an account before completing their purchase.

If you need any further assistance, please feel free to let us know. We are always here to help.

    Best Regards,
    8Theme’s Team

    Dear @Abhinandan,

We kindly recommend that you temporarily deactivate all third-party plugins that are not included with the XStore theme. You can find the list of officially supported plugins here: https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/included-plugins/. Once you have done this, please clear your browser cache and check if the issue persists.

If the problem continues, we suggest switching to the Parent theme, especially if you are currently using a Child theme. After switching, please clear the cache once again and test the functionality.

Additionally, we recommend performing the same test using the default WooCommerce theme, Storefront. This will help determine whether the issue is related to custom code within your Child theme.

Please let us know the outcome of these tests so we can assist you further.

    Best regards,
    The 8Theme Team

    Dear Abhinandan,

We hope this message finds you well.

Upon reviewing your setup, we noticed that the Shipping Methods step was positioned under the “Order Review” section (please refer to the screenshot here: https://prnt.sc/WmKTpXr9ZEpR). As a result, the “Next Step” button was not functioning as expected.

To resolve this issue, we have updated the configuration to use the “Separated” type, and the checkout process is now working correctly.

If you prefer a simpler checkout layout, we recommend using the standard Checkout elements instead of the “Checkout Multistep” element. You can find an example here: https://prnt.sc/4hb_nAtNvfJi.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions or need additional assistance.
