Dear Team, I am trying to add different banners for each specific product categories but my default banner is not getting changed. In fact i have created a category specific static block as well and even tried to insert the short code in the description of that particular category as well but the default banner is not changing. Currently i am trying to change the product category banner of earbuds page https://aarambhonline.com/product-category/electronics-gift-sets/headphones-earbuds-accessories/earbuds/ but its not getting changed. Can you please help me to change it?

    Dear @Parag,

We hope this message finds you well.

We kindly request access to your cPanel, as it appears that your server—on which the current website is hosted—may be experiencing a bot attack. In order to assist you effectively, we would like to analyze your website traffic statistics and provide a suitable solution to improve performance.

We have recently encountered a similar issue, which you can review here:
    https://www.8theme.com/topic/high-server-load-caused-by-xstore-theme-request-for-support/#post-448596
In that case, the primary cause of the website’s slow loading speed was due to malicious bot activity.

To help mitigate such issues, we recommend the following:

    Additional Tips:

    – Monitor for suspicious user agents or repeated access to sensitive URLs (e.g., /wp-login.php, /xmlrpc.php).
    – Enable ModSecurity or a Web Application Firewall (WAF), if available.
    – Consider using real-time monitoring tools such as Munin or Netdata, or third-party services like Cloudflare or Sucuri for enhanced protection.

    Next Steps:

    – Identify and block suspicious IP addresses via cPanel → IP Blocker or by modifying the .htaccess file.
    – Strengthen your website’s security by limiting login attempts, disabling XML-RPC if not required, and enabling CAPTCHA on all forms.

We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to resolving this issue promptly.

    Best regards,
    The 8Theme Team

Dear Team, my hosting team had checked for possible attacks or other issues to check 503 error if anything is wrong with the hosting but they couldnt find anything.

It seems only if i enable PRO Elements plugin my shop page is giving 503 error and once i disable the PRO Elements plugin my shop page is working fine. There is no other plugin which is giving error for shop page. Can you please help me resolve this at once?

    Hello @Parag,

We hope this message finds you well.

Kindly check with your hosting provider to review the server logs, as we are currently unable to access the debug log to identify the specific errors occurring on your server. This information is typically located within your server directories.

Alternatively, if you are able to provide us with access to your cPanel, we would be happy to investigate the issue on your behalf.

Based on our initial assessment, it appears that the errors may be related to complex or unusual content being displayed on your shop page. Please note that the preview within the Elementor panel is also unable to render the content correctly, as shown in the following screenshot: https://prnt.sc/2I_IxAFZxCzC.

We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to resolving this matter promptly.

    Hello @Parag,

I hope this message finds you well.

We would like to inform you that two-factor authentication is still enabled on your account, as shown in the following screenshot: https://gyazo.com/423f6b1e7b309130147121aacebb0bcd.

If you are satisfied with the current shop layout without utilizing the PRO Elements plugin, we recommend disabling the plugin. This will allow you to retain the default layout of the shop page on your website without any issues as you have when such plugin is active.

It appears that we are currently unable to access your cPanel due to incorrect login credentials. In this case, we suggest keeping the PRO Elements plugin disabled and continuing with the default layout.

However, if you still require our assistance, we kindly ask that you verify and provide the correct cPanel access credentials. Please ensure that everything is functioning properly on your end before sharing the access details with us.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Best regards,

    Hi Team,

I have somehow managed to fix my shop page by importing the child theme again. However again I am trying to add different banners for each specific product categories but my default banner is not getting changed. Request you to kindly check and assist me in changing it again to category specific banners for different categories.

Currently i am trying to change the product category banner of earbuds page https://aarambhonline.com/product-category/electronics-gift-sets/headphones-earbuds-accessories/earbuds/ but its not getting changed. Can you please help me to change it?

Apart from this i am also facing an issue related to add Meta description and meta title on Shop page. The page is showing title as “Page Not Found”. I have added the meta description and meta title on this page but its not reflecting.

Lastly the Shop menu tab on mobile site is not linking to shop page. Can you please fix it.

    Hello @Parag,

We hope this message finds you well.

We would like to inform you that, since you added a banner for your category in the description field and are using the Archive Products builder in Elementor, we have enabled the Archive Description feature to display this information accordingly. You can view an example here: https://gyazo.com/99b270558889532c522079d25f3f2272.

As a result, the custom description will now be visible on the front end for each category where such a description has been added. Please see the following example for reference: https://gyazo.com/a048e2bfceec3bf36c3230bdd68eb396.

Additionally, you have the flexibility to reposition the Archive Description widget within the layout to suit your design preferences.

Should you have any further questions or require assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.

    Hello @Parag,

We hope this message finds you well.

We would like to kindly suggest modifying the content, as the default banner you referred to is currently placed within the general Shop archive layout. If your intention is to display this banner exclusively on the default Shop page, we recommend adding the static block as a banner shortcode in the Theme Options specifically for the Shop page.

By doing so, the banner will appear only on the Shop page, while category pages will display their respective local content instead of the default Shop banner.

Should you need any further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.

    Dear Team,

My problem has not yet been solved. You have allowed me to add category specific banners for each category and even for Shop now page but instead of replacing the default banner it is creating a new banner on top of default banner which is not my intend. This is making the site look bad, please fix it and only allow new banner to replace the default banner.

    With Regards,

    Parag

    Hello @Parag,

As some time has passed since this topic was initiated, we would like to clarify the following points:

    1. How should the main shop page look?
    2. What banner would you like to display on shop page only?
    3. Should each product category page have a custom banner configured in the Elementor builder, or should the banner be set from the Category backend editor (as shown here: https://prnt.sc/Vsn4mELbrS5J)? Or such pages should inherit the banner displayed on Shop page ?

If you could provide us with screenshots or examples of the desired frontend result, we would be happy to assist you with the implementation of your request, as some details are still unclear to us.

    Hello @Jack

    1) My Shop page should have only 1 banner which should be defined by me and it should not show system generated banner. It should replace the system default banner. Currently instead of replacing it is creating a new banner on top of the system generated banner which is wrong. If you check my previous screenshot you will be able to see that it is showing 2 banners on shop page.

    2) On Shop page only the banner should be reflecting from my static blocks with [block id=”5402″]

    3) Each product category page have a custom banner to be set from the Category backend editor (as shown here: https://prnt.sc/Vsn4mELbrS5J)

    Hello @Parag,

Could you please check now? The results are as follows:
    1. On the shop page, the banner is displayed according to the Customizer settings you configured: https://prnt.sc/hNvbGZiGsfoA
    2. On categories with a custom static block set in description area, the corresponding banner is displayed: https://prnt.sc/zRzwYPU6mAcR
    3. On categories without a static block set, the banner area remains empty: https://prnt.sc/k8IXmRNKhTlN

If you would like to consider other solutions, please provide us with detailed information about your request so that we can check whether an alternative option is applicable.
