    2. Describe your request in more detail.

    Hello,

    I tried ordering one of my products (the one I put for 1 cent) and it lets me do the check out, brings me to PayPal, and then once I put in my ordering information for my credit card it takes me to a page that says

    “PayPal
    Were Sorry
    Things don’t appear to be working at the moment”

    [Try Again]
    [Return to Merchant]

    How do I fix this?

    I need it to get to a point where when the customer orders a product, they can pay with Paypal, and then they get that digital product e-mailed to their e-mail and their order information.

    Hello,

    Go to Appearance > Themes > install and activate Storefront theme. Try the same when the Storefront theme is enabled. Do you have this issue?

    Hello, no – it does not work. This time though, I got it where I could pay, had to change paypal settings…

    Is there a way I can show you a screen shot to better explain my problem?

    Hello,

    Point is that we are XStore theme support and we can help you only in case issue caused by our theme code. If default WooCommerce functionality does not work even with the default WooCommerce theme Storefront we can do nothing because we do not manage plugin settings and can’t change the plugin code.
    So, you can either contact WooCommerce support about this https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/ or submit an additional customization request here.

    Hello,

    I have contacted both my hosting company who extensively looked into the issue and also WooCommerce and they both came back saying this is a theme issue.

    Let me clarify better what the issue is now.

    1.) Okay, so you go through the process of choosing the item, check out, paypal (have a sandbox option too at this time) and everything works smoothly.

    2.) Once the order has been placed, it takes you to a thank you page and has the item listed that you purchase.

    3.) When you click on that item, instead of you being able to download the Powerpoint and activity, it just takes you back to the store.

    4.) No e-mail is sent to the customer either with what they had ordered. Only the Paypal receipt

    I have enabled the default WooCommerce theme Storefront to test how it works with the default WooCommerce theme. I got the same result https://gyazo.com/43f42e0d43f12eea0d40f3a5d023d7e2
    So, how could that be theme issue if even with the official theme it works the same way?

    P. S. You are not able to download an attachment if your order has status On Hold https://gyazo.com/8191f08a50fab1d765f3110479cd0f66
    Order should have status Completed to allow downloading. And it’s not related to theme but to WooCommerce settings.
    Hope that helps you to sort out.
