My website's homepage is filled with code when i import 'bags' customization

    Hi,

    On my site, http://www.queenjupiter.com/ it is filled with code after I went to import and customized my homepage to ‘bags’ theme.

    How can I change this? Also, the images (the ones that zoom in and out when you go over it) is larger the the one in the theme demo.

    Can u help me fix it?

    Oh and also how can I add the rest of the other features which is shown in the homepage of the theme demo? E.g. join our newsletter, products etc.

    Hello,

    You must install all required plugins for the theme before installing demo data. The message for installation was shown at the top of Dashboard panel.
    I’ve just installed them. Please check your site now.
    Also I’ve installed base demo content and Woocommerce pages.

    Thanks for your help!

    But I have a few questions to ask:

    1. I want to use WooCommerce CSV import to upload the rest of my products. In the products you added, you made different custom values with values for some. Is it possible to use WordPress to make these custom values as default for all my products on the site?

    2. In the plugins, I can update Ultimate Addons for Visual Composer and Master Slider Pro. Should I update them? Will there be any changes to the site if done so?

    3. For all the products (e.g. on http://www.queenjupiter.com/product/fashion-demo-accessories-4/ ) there is the black icons below linking to social media sites. How do I change them so that they will link to mine?

    4. At the top of the page, there are the words ‘register’ and ‘login’. However, they do not link anywhere. How can I link them so that they will work for a user? Also, when they sign up will I be able to keep their emails?

    Hello,

    1. Sorry, but I don’t know what values you mean. You can import your other products.
    Do you mean you want to change values for demo products automatically when importing your products? Unfortunately it can’t be done.

    2. You can update the plugins, it shouldn’t affect your site work, but we always recommend to create back up of files and database before each update process.

    3. You need edit the file wp-content/themes/woopress/framework/shortcodes.php (find the section “! Share This Product” in line 1918), to change links you need edit the code, for example for Twitter <a href="https://twitter.com/share?url='.$permalink.'&text='.$post_title.'" class="'.$tooltip_class.'" title="'.__('Twitter', ETHEME_DOMAIN).'" target="_blank"> and replace https://twitter.com/share?url='.$permalink.'&text='.$post_title.' with a link to your Twitter account.

    4. You can set the links to your Register and My Account pages in Theme Options > Header > Header custom HTML (for 6, 7, 13, 14, 18 headers).

    (Regarding no 4)

    Whenever I click on the ‘Register’ button the link queenjupiter.com/register/ redirects me back to the homepage. What is the problem and how can I solve it?

    (Regarding no 3)

    I wanted to change all the products (e.g. on http://www.queenjupiter.com/product/blue-crystal-iphone-66s/ ) there is the black icons below linking to social media sites. I wanted to change them so that they will link to my social platform accounts.

    I changed the code in the file wp-content/themes/woopress/framework/shortcodes.php :

    to this code below:

    https://twitter.com/share?url=&#8217;.$permalink.’&text=’.$post_title.’

    However, it didn’t work. Do you know where the code went wrong?

    I tried to solve the problem for no 3 and did so quite successfully- at least for Twitter, mail and Pinterest.

    For Facebook and Google+ the problem still remains:(

    Can u help me find the mistake in the code and give me the correct one please?

    Hi,

    Last few questions regarding the theme:

    1. How can I change the footer info? E.g. the logo, information, flicker photos collums etc.

    2. How do I delete the footer link ‘Created with by 8theme. All right reserved’ below?

    Hello,

    1. You have to recreate footer as described in the documentation https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/woopress/#!/0_footer .

    2. Go to Appearance > Widgets > add empty Text widget to “Footer Copyright” area.

    You should check registration page being logged out of your admin panel. Also please read how to create this page correctly:

    Also, I noticed that my site (in the checkout page) has a coupon system. How can I add coupon codes etc.? Have ur team installed a plugin for my site?

    Please clear browser cache and check (don’t forget that you should be logged out of wp-admin panel to view registration page).
