    Hello support team,
Please I need your help to find out why my shop main page is so slow when editing it with Elementor… It takes dozens of seconds, even minutes sometimes to edit a part of the page, like it was loading something in the background and not responding… (same with Chrome or Edge)
I don’t have this issue while editing other pages.

Not sure when it happened the 1st time, maybe after a theme update a few weeks ago.
I’m wondering if there is a theme option and/or widget which could cause this behaviour…
I hope you’ll be able to help me with that somehow.

    Thank you !

    Please, contact administrator
    for this information.

    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us with your concern. We understand how frustrating it can be to experience slow performance while editing pages.

Do you mean the Home page?

To begin with, it’s important to determine whether the slowdown is specific to the shop main page or if it’s a more widespread issue. Since you’ve mentioned that this does not occur when editing other pages, it could be related to specific content or features used exclusively on the shop main page.

Here are a few steps you can take to help us diagnose and address the problem:

    1. **Clear Cache**: Start by clearing the cache from your browser, Elementor, and any caching plugins you might be using on your website. Sometimes, outdated cache data can cause performance issues.

    2. **Plugin Conflict Test**: Deactivate all plugins except Elementor, XStore Core and WooCommerce (if you’re using it) and see if the issue persists. If the performance improves, reactivate the plugins one by one to identify the culprit.

    3. **Theme Update**: Ensure that your theme and all plugins are updated to their latest versions. If the issue started after a theme update, it might be worth checking the changelog for any known issues or contacting the theme developer for a patch.

    4. **Elementor System Info**: Navigate to Elementor > System Info in your WordPress dashboard and check for any server limitations or errors that might be affecting performance.

    5. **Content Check**: Examine the elements and widgets used on the shop main page. Complex queries, high-resolution images, and excessive use of dynamic elements can slow down the page.

    6. **Server Performance**: Check with your hosting provider to ensure your server is performing optimally. Server resources can be a bottleneck for page loading times.

    7. https://prnt.sc/wk0_74fX4j8J please read https://crunchify.com/how-to-fix-access-control-allow-origin-issue-for-your-https-enabled-wordpress-site-and-maxcdn/ or contact your hosting provider to get assistance. It is independent of the theme. Or just disable the mentioned in the error text plugin – Facebook Chat Plugin – Live Chat Plugin for WordPress, and check how the page editor works then.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation. We look forward to your response.

    Best Regards,
    8Theme’s Team
