    Hello 8theme Support Team,

I’ve recently activated the XStore theme and started building my WooCommerce store using Elementor. However, I’ve encountered several issues that are affecting the customization experience and functionality. I’d like to confirm whether these are expected limitations or if something is misconfigured.

    1. Wishlist Icon Only Appears on Hover with Quick View
The wishlist icon only appears on hover alongside the Quick View option. This design creates a usability problem on mobile devices, where hover interactions are not possible. As a result, users have no way to access the wishlist icon on mobile.
I couldn’t find any setting to force the wishlist icon to always show, and I’m unsure if there’s a workaround for this behavior.

    2. No Control Over Add to Cart Button Position
The “Add to Cart” button appears in a fixed location within the product card, and there seems to be no setting or method available to reposition it freely using the builder or theme options.

    3. Smart Carousel Conflict in Mobile View
Under Edit Product Carousel > Hover Effects > Image Effect > Smart Carousel, when the Smart Carousel is enabled, it causes issues on mobile.
Swiping on a product’s image gallery ends up triggering the entire product carousel, preventing users from navigating through individual gallery images smoothly. This appears to be a conflict between the inner product image carousel and the outer parent product carousel.

    4. Lack of Prebuilt Flexibility Despite Being a Premium Theme
Although XStore is a paid theme, I noticed a lack of prebuilt components or drag-and-drop flexibility, especially for WooCommerce product-related designs. I expected a smoother and more customizable experience out-of-the-box.

    5. Can’t Locate or Edit the Existing Product Card Design
I’m unable to locate the template or layout used for the current product cards that appear on the homepage and shop. I just want to make some simple customizations, but I can’t find where or how the existing product card is built or controlled.

    6. Can’t Build Custom Product Card via Elementor
Finally, when trying to build a new product card layout from scratch, there’s no clear way to do it. There is no “Product Loop Builder” or “Product Template” among the template options. Even when using the “Loop Item” template type, the required WooCommerce widgets (such as price, add to cart, wishlist, etc.) are not available as expected.

I’ve attached screenshots for reference. Please confirm if these limitations are expected, or guide me toward the appropriate solutions or settings.

    Thank you for your support.

    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us and for providing such a detailed overview of the issues you are experiencing with the XStore theme.

To ensure a more efficient and organized support process, we kindly ask that you submit each question as a separate topic on our support forum: https://www.8theme.com/forums/xstore-wordpress-support-forum/

We truly appreciate your feedback and the time you’ve taken to outline each point. Please find our responses below:

    1. Wishlist Icon Visibility on Mobile
You are correct that the wishlist icon currently appears only on hover, which can affect usability on mobile devices. This behavior is by design; however, we understand the concern. At the moment, there is built-in setting: Theme Options > WooCommerce (Shop) > Shop > Products design > Product Content Elements > Hover buttons on mobile.

    2. Add to Cart Button Position
The position of the “Add to Cart” button is currently managed by the theme’s predefined product card layout. While there is no direct drag-and-drop control over its placement via the Theme Options or Elementor, this article will help you submit a request for adding a new setting or functionality: https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/support/how-to-submit-a-request-for-adding-a-new-setting-or-functionality/
For now, custom modifications via a child theme or custom CSS may be required to reposition the button.

    3. Smart Carousel Conflict on Mobile
To assist you more effectively, we kindly request that you record a video demonstrating the issue and the steps leading to it. This will help us better understand and replicate the problem on our end. Additionally, let us know what mobile and browser you use.
Upload the video on a filesharing service, for example – https://wetransfer.com/ , and provide us with the URL.

    4. Prebuilt Flexibility and Customization
We understand your desire for greater drag-and-drop flexibility. While XStore offers a wide range of prebuilt elements and templates, certain WooCommerce components are currently limited by the structure of both the theme and WooCommerce itself. We encourage you to share your suggestions on our task board: https://www.8theme.com/taskboard/
Our development team regularly reviews this feedback for consideration in future updates.

    5. Editing Existing Product Card Design
Theme Options > WooCommerce > Shop > Products Design > Product content elements.

    6. Building Custom Product Cards with Elementor
XStore Builders > Archive products builder > edit template > Archive product element settings > Product > enable/disable desired elements – https://prnt.sc/bOV2MRcgnyfY

We hope this clarifies your concerns.

Thank you again for choosing XStore and for your valuable feedback here.

    Best Regards,
    8Theme’s Team
