  Hello,

  I have been using Xstore theme and child theme on a dev version of our site, working on a re-design.

  We will be looking to export/move the theme design/settings from the staging site to the live site.

  I will be using the import/export settings option from the theme options.

  Is there anything I should know about, with regards to smoothly moving across the Theme and Child theme to the live site (any complications)? The child theme’s name will be the same.

  Hello,

  As a rule after the moving to another site users lose Theme options and widgets are messed up. We don’t have any more special recommendations if you made Theme Options backup.

  So if I use the Theme Options export tool, and import them into the new installation, will the settings come back?
