Move Cart to Menu, Standard Header - by lararusso

Hi there,

I am working with xStore, with a standard header, and I am trying to move the cart and wishlist module down into the navigation.

My client doesn’t like any other configuration of your header – she would like it to be:

Logo at left
Menu underneath WITH cart and wishlist.

Please help –

Hello,

What about this type of header https://www.8theme.com/demo/xstore/cosmetics/ ?
I’ll be able to help you to change the logo position if you need and move it to the left http://prntscr.com/disa4y , of course it’s possible to change the colors and enable “header overlap” option.

Hello,

Great. Then provide me temporary admin panel access in Private Content area and I’ll change the type of header and add custom CSS styles to make it like you want.

Done. All the custom CSS styles were saved in child theme style.css.

One more suggestion for you:
If you want to use image for the header I would recommend you to enable breadcrumbs in Theme Options, choose font-size 0 for the breadcrumbs title to hide it and use featured image to upload breadcrumbs image http://prntscr.com/dj81ce. Then you’ll get the following result on the frontend http://prntscr.com/dj826m

Because if you use header overlap and disable breadcrumbs then the header will overlap content of all the pages, on some pages which don’t have content and use templates such as Portfolio, Cart, Checkout will look bad without breadcrumbs.

Also keep in mind that you may change header text color in Theme option and also choose the different color scheme for every single page if you need it different than global settings.
