On my main categories, when you hover the mouse over an image it shows the next image for that product.

I notice that on my sub-categories this ‘mouseover’ affect is not working.

It has also stopped working on the scrolling banner on the homepage.

Can you let me know how to get it back, so that if a user hovers over an image it will display the next image like the main category pages do.

    Thanks, Debbie

    Hello,

Are you currently using any caching systems?

Could you please temporarily disable them and check again?

    Thank you for your cooperation.

Hi, I am using Cloudflare but have used this for years so I think it’s unlikely to be causing the issue. I have cleared the Cloudflare cache and the mouseover is still not working on the sub-category pages or scrolling products at the bottom of the homepage.

    Thanks, Debbie

    Hello @DebbieC,

Please check whether the correct “Swap” effect is selected in the “Image Hover Effect” option (https://prnt.sc/iiJEGODD8Lq0) under Dashboard -> Theme Options -> WooCommerce -> Shop -> Product Design section.

If you meant something else, kindly attach screenshots or a video to help us better understand your request.

If you require our assistance, please provide temporary wp-admin access so that we can review the settings.

    Hi,

Yes, ‘swap’ effect is on. When viewing the sub-categories in the admin (customise) section, the ‘swap/mouseover effect works okay on all sub-categories.

I have checked this over and over again the past few days, on different browsers, clearing site and browser caches and it does not seem to be consistent. Sometimes the mouseover effect is working, sometimes not.

The one sub-category that never works is this one:
    https://www.swankypins.co.uk/product-category/suspenderbelts/6-strap-suspender-belts/

The hover effect does not work on the homepage though, even in ‘customise’. It should work on the scrolling section at the bottom.

    Hello @DebbieC,

Could you please provide us with temporary wp-admin access so that we can review the settings? The credentials you provided in your previous replies do not allow us to access the dashboard or theme settings, and we are redirected to the frontend only.

Additionally, since you have a CDN enabled, could you please temporarily disable it so that we can determine whether the issue is related to caching?

    Best regards,

    Hello @DebbieC,

Could you please clear the Cloudflare cache (https://prnt.sc/RQrHgEJlzi9I) and check the result, or would you prefer that we handle it on our side? We have also noticed the following custom snippet (https://prnt.sc/_6Xfqd05H7fe), which may already be cached and could be causing issues. Therefore, we recommend disabling this snippet before clearing the CDN caches.

I don’t know what that filter image swap snippet is (or where it is). I clear the cloudflare cache all the time (using the plugin ‘purge’) as it’s the only way I seem to be able to view updated pages. Sometimes when i clear it the images swap as they should but then I check it a day later and it’s stopped working again, mostly the sub-category pages. The ones on the homepage scrolling banner never seem to work though, they used to. Debbie
