    Hello Suport,

I really love WooPress, it’s a wonderful theme and i will recommend further your services.
On my site, http://www.fashion-arena.ro , i deactivated responsive design. I really like how it looks, how it feels.
Sure i love IT, but Google does not. My website appears to be unfriendly for mobile devices.
Can You help me pass Google mobile-friendly rules, using the unresponsive design? Where to start?

    Hello,

Sorry, but in this case you have to enable responsive design back.
Css for mobile works for mobile portrait, here is an example http://storage9.static.itmages.com/i/16/0226/h_1456476078_7617025_261413e365.png , and the example of mobile landscape http://storage7.static.itmages.com/i/16/0226/h_1456476127_2321101_2b624d4c48.png .

    Thanks Eva,

    I see now the difference.
I saw on the web some websites who don t have a responsive design, but still are mobile friendly.
    Example: http://www.elegantthemes.com

Can i achieve a design like this with WooPress?

    Hello,

We can’t check your site using Mobile-Friendly Test in Google as it’s not allowed in your robots.txt file:

Where do you test the site?

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

I’ve blocked Google, on the development stage using robots.txt
I’ve removed the block now. You can test the site.

    Hello,

To make site mobile friendly with responsive design disabled you need edit the file header.php, find the code <meta name="viewport" content="<?php if($etheme_responsive): ?>width=device-width, initial-scale=1, maximum-scale=2.0<?php else: ?>width=1200<?php endif; ?>"/> in line 7 and remove the code <?php if($etheme_responsive): ?>, <?php else: ?>width=1200<?php endif; ?>.

    After that test your site.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hello,

If you want to have responsive design on your site for mobile devices you need to activate the mentioned option in Theme Options > Responsive. Otherwise it requires additional customization in theme source files.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.
