When I go to customize and try to edit the menu on the bottom, when I press the green settings button, nothing happens and it will not let me edit the menus.

Hello,
Provide us with the correct WP Dashboard access to check the issue in more detail. Also, keep in mind that you have access to any element settings on the left side and you can edit the menu settings by click on the Menu element in the left sidebar.
