The issue I found is about setting up essential grid.
In documentation part 5, section 5.1.2
I need to upload and import a file called woopress_ess_grid.json.
However i found it not included in the downloaded zip at all.

Would you please send it to my email and also update the theme on themeforest so that people wont have any same issues any more.

    cheers,

    Charlie

Hi, I’m also missing this file. My ‘handmade’ installation looks wrong, as I could only find ‘ess_grid.json’ in cosmetics and sidebar folders. And the revolution slider also is not showing correctly, had to change it from ‘home’ to ‘handmade’ manually. I see several people with this ‘ess_grid.json’ problem, have you not shipped the file in the latest .zip?

    Hello @pappir,

We have sent the Ess. grid file to your email address. Please check it.
We’ll include it in the next theme update.

Please take our apologies for inconveniences.

Hi, thanks for sending the ess_grid.json file so quickly! I followed every step of the docs. Firstly, removing the theme entirely, then re-uploading, going through VC, then Ess grid, then base demo content, then specific version.

But the layout is still sidebarred and not like the ‘handmade’ demo. Also, the rev slider was not created, so I tried to make it myself, which turned out okay, except for the sidebar still being there. And the chat widget is still red along with some text at the bottom, while all the other elements have changed to the ‘handmade’ blue/green.

I can’t help thinking that since it’s not looking right out of the box, something is not setup correctly and yet, I went pretty straight through all the steps. Can you help me? Thanks so much for a great theme and good support!

    Hello @pappir,

I’ve disabled sidebar in “Home” page editor, set “Sidebar Position” to “Without Sidebar” in Page Layout box. Please check it now.
You can change chat style in wp-admin panel > Chat Console > Options > Customize skin > select color for “Header background”.

    Regards,
    Eva Kemp.

    Hi, thank you so much!
However, I find that the theme/my site doesn’t look similar to the Handmade demo – underneath the slider there are three pictures, where in the demo, there are two. A few other things looks different too. I don’t know if I am doing something wrong, I really love the Handmade theme as it appears in the demo and want my theme to look exactly like that – can you help me?

    Thanks so much in advance!
