Mini cart modification and translation - by Wences

    Hello Support team,

    When I add a product to the cart there is popup with the product added to the cart. I named that mini cart.
    I want to modify this popup and to translate it. I did not find where I can do these modifications.

    Hello,

    I have followed the instructions https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-translation/base-theme-translation/.

    I downloaded the po file of xstore plugin and xstore theme from your GlotPress.

    I renamed the file as xstore-fr_FR.po and xstore-plugin-fr_FR.po.

    I copied xstore-fr_FR.po to wp-content\languages\themes of preprod folder

    I copied xstore-plugin-fr_FR.po to wp-content\languages\plugins of preprod folder

    And the minicart is still not translated.

    Hi,

    Could you please provide temporary wp-admin and FTP access? We will check what can be done to help you.
    To grant WP-Admin access, please proceed to create a new user account with an administrator role through your WordPress Dashboard. Once the account is established, you may securely transmit the username and password to us via the Private Content section designated for this purpose.

    For FTP access, we require the following details: FTP host, FTP username, FTP password, FTP port, and FTP encryption type. If you need assistance in creating these credentials, please reach out to your hosting provider who will guide you through the process.

    Hello,

    I have updated all the plugins and same result (no mini-cart translation).

    FYI, I got a critical error when I tried to connect to the wp-admin after your message.
    To fix this issue, I desactivated Loco translate plugin.

    Thank you for updating the third-party plugins. We have also made the necessary patches for the export and as far as we can see, the translation for the mini-map is now working. Please check it on your side.

    Hello,

    It seems that there might be an issue on the server side or with admin rights for the account you created for us, as we are unable to work effectively with the translation files, for example, through the Loco Translate plugin.

    Please remove the duplicate translation files for the theme, WooCommerce plugin, and core plugin, leaving only the one with the “Système” location: https://prnt.sc/7PhAqkCyBkaJ

    After that, please synchronize the translations following this guide: https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/theme-translation/translation-files-update/
