    Hi there,

    In my header menu -> blog I am using a mega menu. When editting the menu show up correctly: it has the 3 latest blog items and the slider works properly. However, on the live website, only 1 blog item shows and the sliders don’t work. How do I fix this?

    Thanks for your help in advance.

    Hello Frank,

    It appears that the issue was related to caching. The latest blog is displaying three columns on our end.

    Please clear all caches and check again.

    Hi there,

    It still doesn’t appear correct on my side. I have tried a fresh browser that I have never used for this website as well. It shows only one item and the buttons don’t work.

    Is there anything else I can try?

    Thanks for your time.

    Hello @Frank,

    1. Please clear and then disable all cache plugins, if any are currently active.

    2. We recommend disabling all third-party plugins that are not included with XStore (https://www.8theme.com/documentation/xstore/plugins/included-plugins/). After doing so, please clear your browser cache and check the issue again. It is possible that one of these additional plugins is causing the problem.

    3. If the issue persists, please provide us with your WordPress Admin username and password.

    We look forward to your response.

    Best regards,
    The 8Theme Team

    Hello Frank,

    We can confirm that this issue is entirely related to caching.

    We also noticed that you have changed the number of items to six, correct?

    Hi there,

    I’m sorry to say, but that seems not to be true. I have just visited the site on a brand new computer that has never visited the web page before. It shows me one item.
    Also, the query is set to 6 (total items) and the shown items should be max. 3

    Thanks for your time.

    Dear @Frank,

    Could you please double-check these CSS files?

    It seems they are having some issues with Cloudflare:

    Hi there,

    For some reason, these files do not exist in the way showed. The folder on your screenshot (I also see this on my side) shows the plugin folder ‘elementor-pro’. This should be ‘pro-elements’. Is there any way I can change/fix this?

    Thanks for your time!

    Hi there,

    It seems like XStore uses the widgets that are not loading correctly: widget-blockquote, widget-nav-menu and widget-mega-menu.

    Could it be that in the XStore theme the .css files need to be coded/linked differently?
    If so, is there a way I can edit it manually before you guys roll out an update?

    Thanks for your time!

    Hello @Frank,

    1. Regarding the carousel issue, could you please disable Cloudflare or enable Development Mode to check if this resolves the problem?

    2. The “Ultimate Addons for Elementor Lite” plugin is causing the missing CSS files issue. We have temporarily deactivated it.

    Hi there,

    1. Cloudflare had issues today. I turned on Development Mode. This helps sometimes. It works a lot of the times (shows the 3 messages) but a lot of the times it also displays 1. Try going to through the pages about 20-30 times and you’ll see it change.

    2. Besides deactivating, is there a long-term fix for this?

    Thanks for your time.

    Hi there,

    I was in the process of temporarily turning off Cloudflare. The reason the site was unavailable was because of the DNS changing.

    It is sucessfully changed now, but the issue remains the same. Sometimes it shows three messages, sometimes it doesn’t.

    Besides developer mode, this message stays the same:

    Also, this is still the same, of the above message:

    Please also see this difference in additions to the div’s.

    Not working correctly: xstore.PNG
    Working correctly: xstore1.PNG

    Thanks for your time.

    Dear @Frank,

    1. Could you please check the carousel issue again?

    2. Regarding the missing CSS files, please contact the plugin author about this issue: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/header-footer-elementor/. Issues related to third-party plugins are outside the scope of the standard support services we provide.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    Hi there,

    1. The issue is partly fixed since changing away from Cloudflare. I would like to keep using Cloudflare. Do you have advice on what settings to use in cloudflare to fix the issue?

    2. I will contact them, thank you.

    3. The issue that still persists is on a single blog item. Please see the attached screenshot.

    Thanks for your time.

    Hello @Frank,

    The issue has been resolved. The following custom CSS code was causing the problem:

    .etheme-post-content {
        margin-top: -45px;
        z-index: 9;
    }

    We have added your own custom CSS code to override it, and everything is now functioning correctly.
