Mercado pago plugin problem – when selecting the payment option it crashes.

    HI, some day ago, when trying to purchase through MercadoPago plugin. The payment area got a broke.

    Pay pal plugin works fine. but when selecting the mercado pago option it get an error. And the costumer cant pay through it. I ask Mercadopago support to check it. but they say that the problem is whit the theme.

    Hello, @Santi,

    Actually “MercadoPago plugin” is a third-party plugin and the issue you are facing is the third-party plugin confliction issue with our theme.

    We do not give a guarantee for full theme compatibility with all existing 3rd party plugins. Sometimes, but not always, you need additionally customize the theme or plugin to make them work together.

    Unfortunately, it’s not possible for the author to make the theme compatible with all the existing plugins and additional customization is outside the scope of our basic support.

    Hi Tony,

    I do understand. But it is a very important and frequently used plugin to pay products on my country, Mexico. Xstore is a theme that is orientated to sell products, not a blog theme. I think this is not an acceptable answer. But i do understand.

    I can understand you as well, but we also have some limitations as well.

    There could be 2 more possible ways now.

    1. Feature Request: You can submit a request here https://www.8theme.com/taskboard/, so our dev team read it.

    2. Paid Customization services: If you want paid Customization services submit a customization request to WPKraken team.

    El problema solo ocurre para una resolución de pantalla horizontal más grande, donde los datos de facturación y pedidos están uno al lado del otro horizontalmente. Si el diseño mantiene estos campos uno encima del otro como en el modo móvil, o incluso reduce la pantalla horizontalmente en el navegador, el problema no se produce.

    Me imagino que el problema es causado por el script:
    /wp-content/themes/xstore/js/modules/cartCheckoutAdvancedLayout.min.js?ver=1.0

    que hace ajustes de diseño receptivo, incluso si bloqueamos este script en el navegador, el problema ya no ocurre, y no noté cambios visuales al bloquearlo:

    Como es un tema pago, sugiero verificar si hay una versión actualizada que contenga algún ajuste, informar el problema o incluso evaluar las acciones del script para comprender si es factible eliminar solo ese paso o ajustar.

    Hello, @Santi,

    Try to disable “Advanced Layout” in XStore–>Theme Options–>WooCommerce(Shop)–>Cart/Checkout.
    Or provide temporary wp-admin and FTP access, so we can take a closer look at the situation.
