    When I installed the theme I had no full width menu navigation that goes across the top under the header, I have the data installed. I just have the mobile menu icon, no main menu listed at all.

    How do I get the full width menu for desktops and the mobile responsive menu for phones and tablets? *confused??

    I’m working on a local isnatll so can’t give admin / ftp etc

    Hello,

    Sorry, but it’s difficult to help you not seeing the site and the settings.
    On our test sites the menu is shown fine.
    Have you installed any 3rd-party plugins? Try to disable them and check the menu again.

    Thank you.

    I have your plugins and contact form 7 installed and that is it.

    so can you use a full width nav menu on desktop computers rather than the mobile menu??

    It seems I get one step forward with this theme and then 2 steps backwards.

    Hello,

    Could you please upload your site to any host? Even some free host to be able to check the issue with your site.
    What screen size do you have? The menu is responsive and is changeable due to screen resolution.
    Try to edit the media query located in the responsive style sheet file wp-content/themes/woopress/css/responsive.css at line 957 and change it from
    @media only screen and (max-width: 1200px)
    to
    @media only screen and (max-width: 992px)

    Thank you.
    Regards,

    Hi,

    it has nothing to do with my screen size as when I change the size it makes no difference.

    I will upload a fresh copy of the them to a live server, not ideal as I like to work on it offline.

    I will then get you to look at it, it’s important I have something that works and does not break easily, i’m concerned as one minute I can change the header style then it wont change??

    OK I have installed a fresh install on a live server, theme would not upload in the zip so did a manual install.

    Please find login detail below to look at setting up a non mobile menu, tried changing the header and it wont allow me even on a fresh install!

    Please, contact administrator
    for this information.

    Hello, @Jimbo,

    If you check our WooPress demo (not our main site, main site uses different theme!) you’ll see the same situation. Menu icon on screens with width less than 1200px is not a bug, this is mobile version of menu. We do such thing because on such devices (less than 1200px), there is no enough place to show all the elements and we thought that more suitable is to use mobile version of menu. But some of our clients, including you, don’t like this. That’s why we came to a decision to make menu full width also on screens from 992px to 1200px. These changes will be included in the next theme update. If you want to get them now, please, provide also FTP access and we’ll implement them.

    Hi,

    Yes the mobile menu also remains there even on higher resolution above 1200 px.

    I will get FTP and include the details in private content very soon, thanks

    Hello,

    We’ve fixed the menu for responsive design and hidden description in the header.
    Also empty Text widget has been added in “Place in header top bar” area in Appearance > Widgets to remove languages and currencies in the top bar.

    Thank you.
