    Good morning. For the past few weeks, we’ve been experiencing frequent spikes in memory and CPU usage, loading problems, and issues accessing the admin panel, resulting in a 503 error code.

    Logically, the hosting is overloaded and therefore crashing. The normal solution would be to move the website to a larger hosting provider, but if the underlying problem isn’t addressed, it will continue to occur. The website doesn’t have excessive traffic (no more than 50 visits per day), nor does it have thousands of products (it has around 50), so I don’t understand why it’s consuming so many resources.

    We’re desperate, which is why I’m contacting you: could you please take a look? Any help or ideas are welcome.

    Thank you very, very much…

    Hello, molo,

    Our theme is fully optimized for performance and does not slow down websites by default. In most cases, speed issues are related to additional content or setup, such as:

    • Excess plugins
    • Large, unoptimized images
    • Heavy third-party scripts or resources

    To improve performance, please consider:

    – Removing unused plugins
    – Optimizing images (WebP format recommended)
    – Using a performance plugin (e.g., WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache)

    Here is our step-by-step performance guide:

    If you’d like, you can also share your site URL will gladly check your setup and suggest improvements.

    We are here to help!

    Kind regards,

    We have noticed that you are using outdated versions of the theme and plugin, as well as older versions of other third-party plugins. We kindly ask you to update everything to the latest versions and then check the loading issue again.

    Best regards,

    Good afternoon! I’m proceeding with the update. I’ve managed to stabilize the admin panel a bit, and it seems it will now allow me to update without problems…

    I’ve attached the information I received from server support regarding wp_options, in case you have any suggestions.

    Hello,

    We are writing to you regarding the issue you reported with the VPS server vl26649.dinaserver.com. After reviewing it, we see that the problem lies in the server running out of available RAM to handle the load generated by the hosting accounts on it continuously.

    The systems department has made some adjustments to reduce RAM consumption, which should help improve server stability.

    We would also recommend that you review the optimization of the website toyah.es, as it is by far the hosting account that consumes the most resources on the server.

    Specifically, we see that it is sending a high number of slow queries, especially related to the wp-options table.

    We attach some examples below:

    # User@Host: wp-3f304d9f9a887[wp-3f304d9f9a887] @ localhost []
    # Thread_id: 507279 Schema: wp_3f304d9f9a8877ca QC_hit: No

    #Rows_affected: 0 Bytes_sent: 112
    SET timestamp=1768986558;
    SELECT option_value FROM wp_options WHERE option_name = ‘etheme_ajax_search_analytics’ LIMIT 1;

    Hello @molo,

    Could you please temporarily disable the Search Analytics feature under “Dashboard → XStore Control Panel”, and then check whether the memory issues are resolved?
    Please remember to clear your website caches including CDNs to ensure that the changes take effect for all visitors.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson

    Good morning! The problems have been resolved with the current website configuration. One of the tests was the one you suggested, but because the page was failing, the changes didn’t take effect when activated.

    What worked best was installing Redis on the hosting provider, at least for now…

    Thanks for your help.
