MEGA MENU AND TOP BAR EDITION - by captainsesman

Please i want the achieve the following
1. i want to create this type of element highlighted in red http://sendfile.cc/GY2DIMA i activated the megamenu option added the following codes as seen here http://sendfile.cc/GY2DGOI but nothing worked.

2. I Also want to edit the following and possibly add a few links to the top bar, how can i go about it? Much regards. http://sendfile.cc/GY2DIMI

Hello,

1) Please read our documentation how to create menu with column.
https://www.8theme.com/demo/docs/royal/index.html#!/primary_menu

2) In this case you need edit the following files
\wp-content\themes\royal\header.php line 92-103
and
\wp-content\themes\royal\headers\parts\top-bar.php.

Also we recommend you to make all changes in the Child theme:
https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes

thanks for the help, but i was unable to edit the top bar as i earlier on complained. I copied the header file and top bar file from the main royal theme folder into the child theme and made changes to it but the effect did not replicate. But when i directly edited at the at the royal theme folder I was able to remove the currency and language items, but was unable to change the accounts, logout on the top bar please can you help much more. http://sendfile.cc/GY2DKOI

I also want overlap some elements on each other but i can not kindly find example http://sendfile.cc/GY2DMMA

Hello,

If you want to remove language and currency icons you need add empty Text widget in Appearance > Widgets > Left Side top bar area. To add more links on the right side you need add Text widget with your content in Appearance > Widgets > Right Side top bar area.

To make elements overlapped you can create them using Visual Composer editor.

Thanks Eva, The Issue is this i cant remove the account and logout menu list. I dont want the My account and Logout, I want different menu list. I followed your instructions but that didn’t work. I used the Widget option but to be included i also want them out.

Then for Overlapping i talked about when I overlap for the info button, you can not click on the link added to the info button. the banner works fine now, but before now i was unable to even click on the banner with the link. http://windowstory.com.ng/

Hello,

Go to Theme Option > Header > disable the option “Enable top links (Register | Sign In)”.

I’ve edited the link for your first banner http://storage3.static.itmages.com/i/16/0725/h_1469453872_1056479_9a5330abec.png . Now clear browser cache and check it.
