Hello,

WordPress does not have such option for the categories. Probably you need to look for the additional plugin to implement this.

Hi,

First off, great theme! By far the best e-commerce WordPress theme I’ve used so far.

The only issue I currently have is that I’m trying to create a Mega Menu, but somehow the XStore Menu Options don’t show up as shown in the documentation. I saw another post that had the same problem and it was suggested to ‘save the menu’. I’ve saved it many times, but I’m still not able to view the menu options to create a Mega Menu.

Would you be able to help me?

I would like to have the same menu like this:

How when it comes to the menu, the picture on the far right of the menu changes. An example is the Home tab at “https://www.8theme.com/demo/xstore/” ?

This feature was made special for our demo site to show the clients all the pages we have. If you like this example we could make if for you by additional customization. We need admin panel and FTP access to your site. Also, you should create the mega menu and prepare images for the every menu item.

Hi Olga,

I have been following this thread and I notice the menu image expansion feature from last couple of notifications.

Did you modify anything other than creating a folder under plugins folder, a sub folder assets and two sub folders, images and js?

I can add the images as you instructed but just curious to know if you made any other changes. I assume the image name should have menu item id for linking?

Hello, @scorleo,

I’ve sent plugin that we use to create this menu to your email. Upload extracted plugin folder into wp-content/plugins/ and activate the plugin in your admin panel. Then you need to edit scripts.js file in wp-content/plugins/et-menu-image/assets/js folder and set appropriate name and id of menu item http://prntscr.com/gztr88, then upload images in wp-content/plugins/et-menu-image/assets/images. Names of the images should consist of the name of the main menu item and the id of the submenu item.

Ignore pl – I had to delete the folders –> Do I delete the folders and sub-folders I created manually before installing the plug-in?

Using example from last screenshot, is the jpg file name: shop_2567.jpg?

Also, the sample code is good for one image, what should be the typical code for multiple images for the website?

Hello, @scorleo,

The plugin works only for one main menu item. You do not need to change the code for multiple images. In scripts.js file, you set id of main item, but for image names, you use ids of submenu items.
You may provide wp-admin and FTP access in Private Content and We will create such menu example on your site.

Hello,

1) The last column of your menu should be image http://prntscr.com/h1ay6t
2) images should have name shop+id of your menu item. For example, shop_7873.jpg , shop_7870.jpg
Then everything works fine.

Please check “test menu item” in your menu http://prntscr.com/h1pyfp > http://prntscr.com/h1pyj4 > https://prnt.sc/h1pyo6.
Also, you have a lot of menu items. Try to increase PHP max input vars limit to 8000 or 10000, because seems existing limit is not enough for you menu.

I had recently increased PHP to 5k, increased it further to 8k per your recommendation. Thanks for catching that!!

I apologize for asking this umpteen times…in this case, I cannot apply to Diffusers and Gift Packs, correct? I just have to choose one.
