    I’ve got Masterslider and Visual Composer plugsin (both latest versions) that are conflicting with PrettyPhoto.

    See attached vid.

    But if I de-activate Masterslider, then Pretty Photo is fine.

    I’ll add that once you click outside the PrettyPhoto, it usually would keep you on the same portion of the site (scroll-wise)….now it throws you right at the top of the page every single time no matter which image you click on to enlarge.

    So something is definitely going on with this version. Odd as it is, in VC’s changelog, they said they fixed conflicts with the PrettyPhoto JS.

    Incidentally, Masterslider is really doing something weird with my images. See attached for a screenshot of the carousel. Images have turned into little offset squares inside circles….all except one image though!

    Any ideas on what to do from here?

    Hello,

    As I see you haven’t updated Master Slider plugin. There is a new version 3.0.4 https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ .
    Update the plugin via FTP.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    I don’t know where you thought that. I am using a new MS version.

    Maybe you’re looking at the old site? I recently changed servers. See attached. Update your records.

    Hello,

    The problem is caused by “JQuery Updater” plugin you are using. Please try to deactivate it and check master slider.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    I have no clue what you’re talking about. I’m not aware of any such plugin?

    Thanks for pointing that out. I have a few people working on this on the site, I just can’t keep up sometimes on who does what.

    Did you try de-activating since you have admin access?

    Good deal Jack. I gave it a try and it seems to work fine now.

    Except…

    When you open Pretty Photo to view any image on a page…then click anywhere outside the image to close the lightbox, it will throw you right to the top of the page no matter where you are on the page. Pretty annoying.

    Thoughts?

    Did you solved the issue?
    I’ve just checked and didn’t see this effect.

    No sir. Don’t know what’s going on here. See attachment.

    I might also add that at one time I had you disable any image enlargement on Pretty Photo when on mobile device. That doesn’t seem to work anymore.

    Thoughts on all of this?

    Thanks.

    Hello,

    We’ve found the issue in FireFox browser. Also you can check it with the default WordPress theme and the effect is the same.

    You can contact Visual Composer support concerning your query in comments section:

    I see. I guess I’ll have to do that.

    Did you not read my other problem about the Pretty Photo images being opened (clickable) with mobile now? We had disabled that a few support tickets ago. For some reason, it’s not working now. Can you look into this please?

    Try to add this code in Custom CSS for tablet/landscape/mobile.

    div.pp_overlay,
    div.pp_pic_holder {
        display: none !important;
    }

    Can you please check this at your end to see if this code addition works? I’m still not being able to have it function correctly. Images still open on mobile.

    Hello,

    I’ve added the code in CSS block of VC editor in “Aluminum Rods” page:
    http://storage5.static.itmages.com/i/16/0826/h_1472225250_1951341_2d5fb14c47.png
    Clear browser cache and check now.

    Best regards,
    Jack Richardson.

    Yep…that does the trick. Too bad I have to go through every page that uses PP and add the code to that page. We can only blame VC’s update.

    They still haven’t replied to the little bug as mentioned above. 🙁 As I see, they’re not that big in quick replies for support.

    I supposed I can remove the code changes for PP in 8theme now eh?

    Hello,

    Yes, you can remove that code from Theme Options.
