Massive Addons for WPBakery Page Builder bug

    Hey Olga,

    My site is working perfectly fine except that Massive Addon bug. It’s still taking me to the 404 page!
    Any update to this problem?
    Every other problem is solved, except this one! Can you please find a solution to it?

    And how do you change the design of the Countdown timer? I couldn’t find any design option from inside the WPBakery Page Builder 🙁

    Morning Olga! So I’ve solved the Massive addon problem by disabling the ModSecurity for my Domain. Unfortunately now,
    1. I can’t add new plugins from my network admin.
    2. I can’t add new site from my network admin.
    3. Can’t log in to main site dashboard if I remove the php.ini file from WP-Admin folder.

    It gives the same memory exhaust error –

    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 100663296 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 189585 bytes) in /home/theelyse/public_html/wp-includes/class-requests.php on line 644

    To let you know, I have set up everything as per the theme requirement, memories and stuff are perfect everywhere 🙂 Can you please find out a solution for this? Surely it’s because of the massive addon plugin!

    Hello,

    Is ModSecurity enabled now?
    Massive Addons plugin support told us that sometimes such problems are related to FastCGI / mod_security server configuration.

    “Both modules have a property to limit the maximum length of input/output strings.
    For FastCGI, you would need to adjust this value: FcgidMaxRequestLen 10485760
    For mod_security, SecResponseBodyLimit 10485760

    I suppose that you would need to ask hosting provider to adjust those settings in configuration.”

    Also, keep PHP Memory limit 256Mb.

    Hey Olga,

    I asked my hosting provider to adjust the settings, but they have limitations over shared hosting, so they can only change some limited portions using php.ini file, not much!

    ModSecurity is enabled now. Can’t use Massive addon plugin. Whenever I try to edit any page, it gets blank. So I guess I have to move forward without using it 🙁 Cause it’s been a week since I have been trying to set up everything on this theme. Need to start building my website now.

    It would have been really helpful if you could find out some solution. But I guess either I have to change the hosting service provider, otherwise I’ll have to change the theme.

    Hi Shuvo, have you tried setting this up locally? Try using MAMP, set your site up locally. If it runs fine locally than we could rule out it being theme issue or plugin conflict, otherwise if your hosting provider has certain limitations, it might make sense to migrate elsewhere. Chances are you might run into issues with other themes that may have plugins that run heavy, and you’re not leaving your site open for growth in increase of traffic, content, etc.

    Hi Olga,

    So, I’ve changed my hosting service and transferred to Bluehost. Now I can’t activate my theme. It’s telling me that “You have reached activation number limit.”!!! Can you please tell me what’s wrong?

    Hey @Olga,

    Thanks for the support. You can close this post. After changing the host to bluehost, almost all the problems are solved 😀 If anything new occurs, I’ll let the support know. Thanks again.

    P.S. – I have a small suggestion. You guys should make a 24/7 support system, cause your theme is being used by a lot of people and it takes really long time if someone knocks you after your office hour.
