After upgrading to XStore Version: 6.2.9, we lost our header, split menus, and ability to customize the theme. Massive problems. The new Header Builder is partly to blame, it appears, but what’s most puzzling is that when we try to customize XStore (XStore > Theme Options) , we get a blank page where the home page would normally be displayed, and then when we try to save a change, we end up with an Internal Server Error or endless spinning, and we can’t back up to the Dashboard. Frustrating as heck. We’re providing you with credentials to log in and take a look for yourself.

    Hi,

When I access Theme Options, I get message Internal Server Error

The 500 error means that there is some Fatal error in PHP script or on the server side. Contact your hosting providers and ask to give you a server error log to check what is wrong. Provide us with that log and also temporary FTP access to your site.

The error log (entry below) indicates that there’s something wrong with the et-core-plugin. I’ve deleted the plugin and re-installed it from the original download from Themeforest – and it’s still failing. At this time I’m convinced that’s the problem – the et-core-plugin 2.1.3 we’ve been given is flawed. Agree? Can you provide me with a good one?

    Hi,

Looks that PHP Code For Posts plugin could be the reason of the problem. Once we disabled plugin problem disappeared.

No that didn’t resolve the problem (and that plugin is critically important to us). We still cannot get the Customize theme options to load properly, and then we can’t exit it back to the Dashboard. Very strange.

    Hello,

Error that you provided is related to server settings. Did you try to contact your hosting provider to show them that error and check the permission settings to solve the problem?

    Regards

Nothing unusual found. Web hosting provider is still investigating. I’m about ready to roll back to xStore version 6.1 which worked perfectly for us.
