Major Bug with Stripe and XStore - by tsnaj

When customers choose to pay via stripe, they are not taken to the confirmation screen and are presented with an empty error message.

They end up trying to place their order again.

This results in the customers paying multiple times.

Please feel free to create a test item for 0.01 and trying it.

This is urgent please as this is a live site and it’s happening on every transaction.

I have spoken to woocommerce and they are saying it’s theme related.

Hello,

We do not have this problem on our test site. Please create a staging site and provide us with wp-admin and FTP access, so we could make tests there. Also, enable stripe dev mode on the staging site.

We will make some tests, so it would be better to create a staging site. Or can we do tests on your live site?
Also, ask your hosting provider support to create FTP account to your site files and give us the credentials (FTP hostname, FTP username, FTP password).

Hello,

1) This issue is not related to our theme because it does not work even with official WooCommerce theme Storefront https://gyazo.com/93f46f0696a822cd8b7b7655b081138a
2) Problem caused by one of your plugins because once we disabled third-party plugins that do not come bundled with our theme we have placed the order https://gyazo.com/9964852dc10a498b1587e931694c68a4
Disable third-party plugins one by one to find out which one is the reason of the problem and contact plugin author after that.
3) Additional plugins that you use produce a lot of notices, I would recommend to contact plugin authors to fix them.
4) Disable plugins that you don’t use. I see that you keep enabled Smart product viewer, Subscriptions, Infinite Scroll but you don’t use this functionality, so there is no need to keep them enabled. Every plugin has its own scripts and styles and it slows down the site a little bit.
