  How do I hide some categories so that all products are NOT displayed? I don’t want everything listed on the main page…but accessible through category widget.

  By default, 8 products display.

  I want only 4 products in a certain category to be on the main shop page. I want the other 4 products in another category to only be accessible thru the dropdown.

  Hello,

  Shop page is the default woocommerce page, so if you want to customize it, contact woocommerce support.
  As a workaround, you can add in the menu an item with “Shop” title and link to a custom page.
