Logout function not working - by Brad - on WordPress WooCommerce support

Hello,

The logout function on my website does not work. If I logout and close the tab, you can just open a new tab and have access to the site again as if you never logged out. Closing all tabs and shutting the browser does resolve the issue. Not the best solution.

Website added to private content section.

Hello,

please provide us with admin credentials for your site in private content.
In addition, have you enabled caching/cookies in your browser?

Hello

It is likely caused by some third-party plugin. Please try to disable some of them and check the issue.

Admin credentials are provided.

Problem occurs no matter what browser I use, caching/cookies is enabled.

Hello,

I’ve checked your site and I logged out and opened the site again I wasn’t logged in anymore.
This issue may be caused by your browser cache. Try to clear the cache before opening the site for the second time.

Hi Eva,

I’ve tried again on 2 different browsers, cleared the cache, closed the tab (not the entire browser) and still am logged in when I click on My Account.
This is for customer account login’s and not admin login, just to be clear. Have you tried login in as a customer?

Logout drop-down under My Account doesn’t work, clicking on Sign Out (shown below) does.

Hello,

Sorry, but we aren’t experiencing the issue that you described.
I’ve enabled “Sign in/Register links” in Theme Options > Header and logged out successfully clicking “Log out” link on the top bar.
Please check if this issue persists with default WordPress theme.

Hi Eva,

I saw that you enabled Sign in/Register links in the header, and yes the logout function works perfectly, but again I will say the Logout sub-item from the My Account menu does nothing.

I will get someone else to resolve it, thanks for trying.

Hi Eva,

Problem is resolved now, turns out the Logout page name in Woocommerce settings was incorrect, can’t believe I missed that.

Anyways thanks for assistance and patience.
