Logo not showing / admin bar height - by 0rca

Hi there,

you obviously did some changes to the header and logo with v.8 and now the logo is not showing and the “smart” sticky header is not respecting the WP admin bar height anymore. When will there be a fix available?

Hello,

Clear cache of your browser and check one more time.
Provide us with screenshots of problems. You can use Gayzo or Lightshot screenshot tools to make and share screenshots.

Naturally I have cleared all caches. A screenshot might not be the best way to show that something is missing, but I still did one. No logo.

I removed and added the logo again and it appeared. Check now.

looks fine. So this had to do with the recent update, don’t you think?

What about the “smart” sticky header is not respecting the WP admin bar height anymore?

Hello,

Don’t think that’s related to the update, looks like some glitch.
Sticky header always ignores the admin bar. The script calculates the position of the header and does not take admin bar height. But your customers do not have admin bur, so it should not be problem for you.

Hi,
it is always good practice to respect the admin bar, even though the customers won’t see it. Even if it just for styling purposes for our clients and their staff it makes sense.
You won’t believe how many clients ask us to change something on the admin bar, even though they see it but the customer doesn’t.
