    Hi there,

I’ve got the message “Note: The translations do not match the template file (.POT). You should sync woocommerce.pot before making any changes”. What does it mean, and what should I do to solve it?

Furthermore I’ve a mix in German and English in the WooCommerce Plugin within the tax area. The text is mixed shown in English and German, and in the end leads to this that maybe so the API import can not assign or hit the target value what is over given by the products import file. Maybe the mapping is not working because this issue. And finally the tax rates can not be assigned. I have in the products import file 2 tax rates imported, the standard rate (19%) and the reduced rate (7%). But only the standard rate (19%) is written in for the products.

Can I disable the translator only for the WooCommerce plugin? Or is there any way to solve the problem?

I don’t want to translate the tax rates.

    I’ve attached a screenshot.

    Thanks,
    Patrick

    Hello, Patrickjanko,

Thank you for reaching out to us with your concerns regarding the WooCommerce translations and tax rate issues.

1/ The message you’ve encountered, “Note: The translations do not match the template file (.POT). You should sync woocommerce.pot before making any changes,” typically indicates that the translation files you are using are out of sync with the current version of WooCommerce. The .POT file is a template that contains all of the translatable strings from the plugin. When WooCommerce is updated, this file can change, and your translations need to be updated accordingly.

To resolve this, you should update your translation files. This can usually be done by using a translation plugin or the built-in WordPress language tools to synchronize your translations with the latest .POT file. Here’s a general guide on how to proceed: https://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/103-translation-files-update

2/ We would recommend you to contact support of WooCommerce plugin directly – https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/

    Best Regards,
