    Hi,

You sure follow all the steps here: http://xstore.helpscoutdocs.com/article/30-base-theme-translation

The key point is choose the correct language ( code ) that matches your WordPress language, did you did that step correctly? If that did right, and still didn’t work means, can you tell us which string you tried to translate that didn’t work.

Just in case, cross check the steps you did with the plugin’s documentation https://localise.biz/wordpress/plugin/beginners

    Let us know,

    Thanks,
    laranz.

I did choose the right/same language in both places. used system instead of custom as indicated in your documentation, saved,

Not a single string translates, i have done like 2% of the file, and not a single one shows up in the site.

read this site, and my created .po files is in /languages/themes

    Hello,

You changed text domain in style.css file http://prntscr.com/h7owux in this case translation can’t work from languages/themes folder, so we transferred your translation files in http://prntscr.com/h7oxt9.
To make translation works from correct system directory you need to change text domain in all files of theme, for example, http://prntscr.com/h7oym7 – here xstore need to be changed, then generate .pot file.
For more information please read these articles – https://localise.biz/help/wordpress/theme-localization https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/how-to-localize-a-wordpress-theme-and-make-it-translation-ready/

    Regards
