Linked Variations not showing on product pages.

Hello, I have followed the steps in this guide. However, my linked product variations are not showing.

I have set all the atttibutes and assigned to products, however, when I am creating the variation it will not allow me to save the attribute to it.

In this screenshot you can see the two Botton input fields are empty, however when I chose options and select update, the options are removed upon page refresh.

We have released the latest patch #9497685, which is intended to resolve the issue you reported. Please install this patch at your earliest convenience. If the patch does not appear in the list, kindly use the “Refresh patches” button.

Should the issue persist after installation, we kindly ask you to provide us with access to your FTP panel and the administrative section of your website so we can investigate further.

Hello,

I have applied the patch and nothing changed.

When trying to add the attributes it still disappears after submission.

Could you please specify the directory in which the WordPress installation with the reported issue is located? Additionally, we kindly ask you to provide access credentials to the WordPress admin panel for that specific site.

Please note that the websites for which you have already shared admin access are currently using a different theme.

if I have to give you new credentials now, that would mean changing the password, which means your colleagues won’t be able to access it once I do so, this keeps happening. Ill provide the info again, share with your colleges so I dont have to change the password 5 times a week.

Video shows what happens when trying to add the variation and images. It doesn’t show after page refresh. And no variations are showing on the product pages or single product page.

Thank you for the video. The issue with saving was caused by the presence of the characters “(” and “)” in the attribute names. This has now been resolved. Please check and confirm on your end.

Additionally, these changes will be included in the next theme update.

still doesn’t work.

The variations are now appearing on the product page. However, when selecting a variation, it claims that no product matches the selection, despite the product being in stock.

when the error message is closed, it loads to the new page for the variation, instead of just selecting the new variation on the same page..

1) We have corrected the notice.

2) Regarding your concern that “it loads to the new page for the variation, instead of just selecting the new variation on the same page” – please note that this is the intended behavior for linked variations. If you would prefer the variation to be selected without reloading the page, we recommend using standard variable products instead.

To achieve this, please add the following CSS code by navigating to Customizer → Theme Custom CSS → Global CSS:

.single-product .etheme-add-to-cart-form ul.st-swatch-size-large li.type-image {
width: 40px;
height: 40px;
}

You may adjust the value 40px to suit your specific requirements.

Thank you, there are few more small issues.

One of which is, that it doesn’t display the “cross through” for out of stock products.

Image attached shows that you of stock design is set to “cross line”but nothing appears… In this example, the 3rd variation is out of stock.

The second issue,

is the layout of the variation images, due to the text for the attribute.

Ive attached images for reference.

Currently the text is positioned on the left, forcing all images to the right.

If the text could be above the images, it would allow more space to neatly display the variation images.

Please note that the image is a mock up for reference, I can play with size settings once the text is positioned above.

The third issue,

is that, since changes have been made, it has stopped the variations appearing on the shop page on other products with normal (non x-store linked) variations.

Images attached shows the product, before and after variations are clicked.

With regards to the 3rd issue.

Ive attached a video which shows how this section was supposed to behave, this video was from an earlier demonstration of using this.

And unfortunately, this code doesn’t work now, after being advised by your colleague to add additional css for another issue…

This code was working fine. Until,

html:not(:has(#wpadminbar)) .elementor-location-header {
–wp-admin–admin-bar–height: 0.001px;
}

was added.

Now, the code you gave me, doesn’t effect the image swatches size at all.

Regarding the display of linked variations on the shop page — unfortunately, this is currently not possible, as linked variations only function on the single product page.

As for the other two issues, we have made some adjustments. Kindly check and let us know if everything is working as expected.
