I was wondering is there a way to limit the number of images that are loaded when “Images slider” option is selected in “Image hover effect” – https://prnt.sc/201hwol

There is no such option, right now, unfortunately. You can submit a request here – https://www.8theme.com/taskboard/ If it takes votes from other customers then our developers will be able to add it to the queue.
