Make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme.

It isn’t the latest version of the theme…. we had a developer (now gone) purchase the theme for us and since have purchased support. Can we now download the current theme? I don’t see where I can do that for the moment…

I’m not sure about this because it’s Envato support area. We don’t have control over the ThemeForest accounts of the user. But I don’t think that you are able to purchase support of you did not have theme in the Downloads list of your purchases. If not then you need to contact your developer. We can’t provide you access to theme on the support forum. You can download it only from the ThemeForest downloads area.
I’ve paid for a license… through that support… I have the theme… i just can’t update it…you can help with that?

One standard license is valid only for 1 project. Running multiple projects on a single license is a copyright violation.
