Legenda chat console work only in admin - by lara_c_2

Hello,
I purchased this theme and there is a trouble with the chat console. Only the administrator can see the chat console and when I assign another user as a chat operator or any other rule he cant see the chat on the dashboard. I am not sure if it is related to the plugin or the theme. I did contacted the plugin author but they refuse to help me and told me to contact the theme author.
One of the choices of the theme was the live chat, and it is very frustrating that no one can help… What should I do?

Hello,

You’re using old theme and plugins versions. Please update them and check this issue.
Don’t forget to make backup of the site before update.

Ok, I figure it out where is the problem, but I dont know how to solve it.
Apparently when I add to a the chat operator the ‘manage option’ rule under capabilities, the chat console disappear. How to fix it? I need the user to be a chat operator and be able to edit some things but not as an admin.

Hello,
Thank you for your response, but I am very very frustrated. I cant get it fixed. I dont understand why it is so difficult, to get the plugin (that was included in the theme)to work correctly.
I cant get the the setting to be visible together with the chat. Why it is not working??? I tried disabling the rule plugin and I get even less possibilities for the other user. When I check in capabilities the ‘manage option’ the chat operator still cant see the console.
Please help me, this is really frustrating and taking forever. Nothing works.

Hello,
Thank you for replay. But that wasn’t my problem. The user admin had other privileges. I wanted the user admin to be able to edit pages, settings, products the revolution slider and some plugins. My problem was getting that user to be able to use the chat AND be able to edit some other things.
Maybe I wasn’t clear about my problem. That user MUST be able to work on the website AND be able to chat with clients,but NOT as superadministrator. HOW CAN I ACHIEVE THAT? because right now the user audricadmin is basically have no rules or other privileges.
I really hope to solve that once and for all and not bothering more…but it seems ridicules that I cannot be able to add the chat to another user….

Hello,

As I see you provided the username “audricadmin” so Chat Console is shown for him. If the plugin “User Role Editor” is disabled the chat is shown for this user.
Please check it.

Yes, but still the user audricadmin can’t edit the settings, the revolution slider and other things. Please help me fix that. The user audricadmin have to be able to edit the revolution slider and the settings. Thanks

Usually I never write a bad comment or a negative review but this time is different, and I know that usually you cannot satisfy everyone and that is ok. But I did paid 60 dollars for a theme and it does not do what I thought it would.
I am eligible still for 4 month of support and I was wasting my time writing messages to you thinking you can solve the problem.
I have been buying other themes and I work with other companies but never had this kind of treatment to a client. I am not saying you were rude but during our correspondence it seems that my problem is not important at all, and I am sure how much effort you put in order to fix it, or at list trying.
WHAT IS SURE I WILL NEVER ACQUIRE NOR RECCOMAND TO BUY FROM YOU GUYS.

Chat operator role is related to “Screets Live Chat” plugin, not to our theme and we can’t modify the plugin files.
As we are not the plugin developers, you may find on the developers’ web-site all the set up information and documentation.
