Left sidebar missing after theme update - by hicct

Hi support

After updating the theme to latest Legenda theme version, the left sidebar with filters is now missing on shop product category page. In the old version of the theme, there was an option to turn on/off sidebar on shop page but in this new version, this option is missing.

Hope you can help with this issue?

Did not mention that I’m using the latest version of WooCommerce with the Legenda theme.

Hello,
You can turn ON/OFF shop page sidebar or select sidebar position in version 2.0 too! Go to Theme Options > Product Page Layout > Layout (sidebar position). To add sidebar content go to Appearance > Widgets > add widgets to Shop sidebar.
Could you provide admin panel access in Private Content, we’ll check. Maybe you did not update all theme files or upload new version as new theme?

Hello,

As I see the sidebar with filters is showing on the shop page and the option to turn on/off sidebar is present in Theme Options > Product Page Layout > Sidebar.
Your problem was caused by the reason you didn’t replace the files when updating the old theme, but installed a new version as a new theme and left the old version. That’s why all widgets were removed from sidebars. Next time please watch the video tutorial how to update the theme:

Hello,

Please provide us with FTP access, purchase code and we’ll try to update the theme. Don’t forget to create a backup before.
Have you made any changes directly in the theme files? If yes, they will be lost after update.

We have updated your theme. Problem with sidebar was related with out of date archive-products.php in child theme.
Check now.
