Latest Product Front Page – based on latest not on flag

    Hi,

    I using the “Products” Element and set it to “new” to display the latest products.
    From the documentation I can see that I have to set a flag in the product itself to mark it “new” to be displayed in this element.

    Is there a way to display the new products added to the shop automatically similar to [recent_products per_page="12" columns="4"]?

    The way I have to add it with the theme is not very good as I have to remove the flag after a few days from older products. This cause a lot of overhead work.

    Not what I was hoping for but fair enough – I can see the benefit of manual selecting products as new and the workload is minimal when creating the product. Only showing X amount of products and let all other products flag as “new” be hidden from the element is acceptable.
