Hello,
I just updated my Royal theme, as well as all of the plugins. I am having major issue.
1) The revolution slider on my homepage will not show up.
2) There is a big gray box around some elements on my home page.
3) The product tabs on the product pages are now in a vertical line, rather than being horizontal.
4) The Featured/New Arrival tabs have changed drastically, and it is giving me the notification that ” You are using outdated element, it is deprecated since version 4.6.”
Other issues I’m running into:
– When scrolling, I get text that says I need to set my main menu in appearances>menu. When I set the “right menu,” I receive a double menu which I do not want.
– Google fonts will not load. I have not had this problem in the past
These updates have destroyed my website. Please help.
Hello,
There is a conflict between new WordPress version and Revolution Slider:
http://forum.muffingroup.com/betheme/discussion/7846/revolution-slider-invisible-after-update-to-slider-5-x-version-and-wordpress-4-3
The plugin authors released a new version 5.0.4.1 where this bug should be fixed. Soon we’ll upload the plugin archive to this page https://www.8theme.com/download-plugins/ . You can monitor for it.
Concerning the tabs and fonts please provide us with FTP and wp-admin panel credentials in Private Content.
Regards,
Eva Kemp.
I have the same issue, how can this be resolved immediately?
Hello @daviruchu213,
If slider disappeared after update to slider 5.x version + WordPress 4.3 you must do one simple thing. Under “Slider settings” you have “Select a slider type” section and you must click on Slideshow-Auto option. You can see this option on http://pasteboard.co/2PyViTNi.png

Selecting Slideshow-Auto doesn’t work. It just displays a large grey color box where the slider is. We’ll just have to wait for v5.0.4.1 to become available and hopefully it will resolve this issue.
It’s a big mess…I’m sure this effects tons of other people using the Rev. Slider and WP 4.3.
Hello @khoavo,
I’ve selected Slideshow-Auto option and slider working fine now. Please check.
