Issues with Category Page Performance Optimization and Sticky Header

    Hello,

    We are having difficulties optimizing the speed of our category pages. Disabling certain styles does not help, as many of the theme’s JS and CSS files are essential for the category page functionality. Could you please assist us with this issue?

    We have successfully optimized the homepage and single product pages, and their performance scores are quite good. However, about two versions ago, the category page performance on mobile was reaching around 80, but after recent updates something seems to have changed in your code, and the performance has dropped significantly.

    We have also noticed that the sticky header functionality has stopped working.

    Could you please look into these issues and advise us on how to restore the previous performance levels and sticky header functionality?

    We would like to inform you that recent updates to our theme have included several enhancements aimed at improving CPU usage. However, if you are still experiencing performance issues, particularly with the loading of category pages, you may consider disabling certain features to evaluate their impact.

    For instance, we have disabled the merging of JavaScript files on the frontend by adding the following snippet to the child theme’s functions.php file:

    add_filter('etheme_elementor_force_load_global_assets', function($value, $in_preview) {
        return $in_preview;
    }, 10, 2);

    Additionally, we noticed that most of the options under Theme Options → Speed Optimization are currently inactive (please refer to the screenshot: https://prnt.sc/dmCpS36QfzVK). To enhance performance, we have applied the following settings: https://prnt.sc/WKMRZwL04XLc.

    Following these adjustments, we observed improved results in the speed test for the specified URL. We encourage you to test the performance on your end as well.

    As far as I can see, the page speed results have only improved minimally.

    Do you have any other tips or solutions for improving the performance of the category page?
